Scene 1
Shan drives the car. Chahat says papa promise me you wont her admission in my school. Krishi holds their hands and says you have to be friends to get me admission in this school. You want me to get there right? Please come with me. They come in to principal office. Krishi says papa let’s go. Shan says I am not your father. SHikhawat is your dad. Krishi says I know you are my dad. Shan says no I am not. You have to come with shikhawat. I can’t get your admission done. Your real papa can. Krishi cries and says papa please don’t go. Shan walks out. He looks at Krishi crying. Asmita hugs her. He leaves. Krishi says why did he leave. Asmita says you don’t need him to get admission. I will get you admission in this school. Let’s go.
Asmita comes to principal. She asks father’s name. Asmita says she will have my name. Principal says even if you are divorced you have to write the name. Asmita says I am looking after her. Her rights aren’t tied to her father’s name. I dont want his name with my daughter’s name. She says we will take her admission test tomorrow. ASmtia says I will give her everything she deserves.
Shan comes home. He is angry. He says why am I so bothered? Nandani says you are bothered about that illegal child? Shan says kids aren’t illegal. Don’t say such things asmita. Nandani says I am not asmita. Nandani says I have to separate you two. I will do worse than what I did.
Krsishi sees the classes. She says such a big school. Chahat comes there with her friends. She says this is a bad girl. Krishi says I am a good girl. Chahat says you don’t even have a papa. Chahat says we have to write on her hadn that she doesn’t haev apapa. Moni says leave her. Krishi says leave me. Chahat is about to write but teacher is coming there. Krishi comes out crying. Asmita says what happened. Krishi says this is what chaht wrote on my hand. I have a papa. Asmita says who did this? She says you. You said I shouldn’t have dad’s name on my phoen. Asmita hugs her.
Shan is leaving Asmita comes home and slaps SHan. She says this is for what your daughter did to my daughter. You are a failed father. Do you see how hurt is she. Chahat comes and says why didn’t you come to pick me? Shan shouts and says come here chahat. He shows her Krishi’s hand and says you did this? Speak up. She says yes I did. shan is about to slap her. asmita holds his hand. Asmita asks kids to go to room. Asmita says how dare you. What were you trying to prove? Kids are innocent. They do what their parents. He says I didn’t hit nor I would. Nandani says you don’t need to tell us what should we do to our kid. Shan says you killed your own child. We don’t need to learn from you.
Precap-Nandani says I am glad you showed her, her worth. Shan slaps her.

Shan is sure a deadbeat father, just like some deadbeats around the world, who when they start to drag on their asses, then they come to look for their children…to take care of them. I hope there are men out there watching this serial unfold at this point, to remind them to do their obligatory duties towards the children they fathered, to bring them up not like the disobedient Chahat, who gets away with a lot of bad deeds at home so that when they are in the public, they won’t bring them to shame… What yuh sow, yuh reap!! For once, if only for once, can this serial show that women can find a better life partner like Shikawat the second time around and not remain with losers like Shan Mazumdar!! Not because till death do they part!!
Darn right Asmita, bring your daughter up, you don’t need a man to do it!! Befitting action taken by Asmita towards Shan…denying Krishi is his daughter, understandably so but a DNA test can give Shan his answer, if only his head isn’t so intoxicated so that he think coherently….and that wretch of a wife, have all the luxury in life, the best outfits to wear but can’t hold onto the man she wants.. Seriously writers, y’all need to give Shan cirrohosis of the liver…with all the alcohol he’s drinking.. Don’t get me wrong people, I wish no harm on the actor, just his character Shan…
Good comment Naz but over here what we are seeing is Asmita fighting Shaan’s case he is accused of killing the witch dad. We are waaayyyyy behind.
Jayashree, we are seeing the same episodes as you all are… Last night episode showed us that Asmita is a lawyer…and fighting Shan’s case in the courtroom. However, I’m watching local TV episodes till I see where Asmita gets hit by a vehicle, goes to the hospital and where she loses her baby…presumably…allegedly…
After that, I don’t need to follow up coz I’ve caught up with all the episodes till this one, through desitvflix.com…so basically I’m up to date with YTG….only!! So, yeah, here we are way back too.. KKB and ISA, I’m following on local channel…incidentally, KKB is only approximately a week behind here so no need to follow online, ISA isn’t so far behind but still behind BUT YTG is 32 or so episodes behind, I counted them while catching up on desitvflix.com… Hope that explains why I comment on this serial. Hey girl, the CPL is marvelous.. You all on top of the game with 10 points so far, while we are 2nd… We got a good trouncing on Tuesday, I couldn’t believe what played out in front of me, my BP went up… I was so mad to see Bravo go in that super over, Lendl Simmons should have been there with Pollard, they paid the ultimate price!! ???..would be a great game to watch if Warriors play TKR in the final … Now, that’s a great match to watch!!!

I brought up my 2 children on my own and I am proud to say that they both doing well in life. It was not easy but it was better than living with a loser. Shan mind is being control by Nadini. This man had lost all his senses and he can’t see what’s going on around him. All he care is his stock for alcohol. Chahat has been brought solely by Nandini no wonder she turn out to be a mini Nandini. I personally think Asmita should kick her out of the house and give her a taste of her own medicine. Agree with you Naz that writers should bring in a new character to be Chahat dad and give the story a revamp.
Same here Pooja.. I brought mine up all by myself, hence my observations on Shan as a poor role model as a father. Anyone can be a father but only it takes a great man to be a DAD!! My father was a great Dad, my ex wasn’t. I’m proud to have been a good mother to my children always there for them…still!! I read an article where Avinash Mishra said that doing this role is very hard for him to do…that Shan went through different phases in life and having to portray a father as is currently being portrayed, even he hates Shan Mazumdar, coz he would never be a man like Shan in real life. So…we both have a few similarities it seems… Lol… Single parent and supportive mothers.. ??…although we both know that a father is an important person in a child’s life..
