Sayantani Ghosh roped in to essay the role of Goddess Parvati in ‘Jai Hanuman’
Sayantani Ghosh, who is currently essaying the role of Sim Sim in Alibaba – Dastaan-E-Kabul, has bagged a cameo role in the mythological show Jai Hanuman. According to the reports, the actress has bagged a cameo role as Goddess Parvati in the show. THe actress is expected to commence the shooting for this cameo role soon.
Sayantani recently celebrated her 39th birthday with close friends and family. It seems like this year is going to be super lucky for her. Sayantani who is very spiritual loves costume drama which is evident from her choice of shows from Naagin to Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul and now Goddess Parvati for Jai hanuman.
During a recent interview with BT, the actress talked about her role in Alibaba – Dastaan-E-Kabul, and shared about being on the harness all day. “I am exploring Sim Sim’s identity and journey in new ways with each shoot. Apart from being on a harness all day long and devoting two hours to the makeup and costume every day, there are times when I’m shooting without the company of any co-stars for hours, which is a really draining process. However, all these emotional and physical challenges are worth it based on the incredible work of our entire crew,” she said.
