Scene 1:
Location: Police station.
Khushi tells prem not to fire at viru. prem remembers viru shooting simar and gets into a rage, much to khushi’s and viru’s shock. But he misfires, as his brothers come up and pull the gun into the air. The police too arrives at the scene and threatens to put prem behind bars. But the brothers plead for him, and ask the police to spare prem’s first and last mistake. Viru taunts prem as his brothers begin to take him from there, that he knew prem doesnt have the guts to kill viru. The police sends them out also asking khushi. Khushi thinks that she would get viru out of the jail, and calls up someone and tells him to meet her immediately.
Khushi asks the lawyer to get viru’s bail, and she would give any amount of money that he wants. The lawyer agress to get the work done. She’s sure that she would get the work done, and get viru out of the jail.
Scene 2:
Location: In the hospital
Mataji is shocked to hear what prem did in the jail. She tries to comfort prem saying, that viru would be punished by the law. Mausiji too asks prem to think about simar right now, as roli and sid too arent here. Mataji asks prem if he didnt think of them and anjali, who’s innocent but her parents are in grave trouble, one is dying and the other murdering. prem apologizes profusely saying that he wont leave simar and be with her forever. He begins to go, but the doctor tells him that even after 12 hours on the ventilator, simar hasnt shown any improvement, and its very difficult to save her. He says that only a miracle can save her now.
The family enters simar’s ward, while the doctor checks for her vitals. The doctor maintains the same stance, saying that he doesnt think its of any use, keeping her on the ventilator anymore, and that they should let her go. now. The family is shocked to hear this. prem goes berserk saying that nothing would happen to her, and he doesnt believe it.
The family asks the doctor if there’s anything that they can do, and that he shouldnt bother about the cost incurred. He says that there’s no hope left and keeping her on the ventilator is only having false hopes. Prem shouts out that its not hope, but faith and that she would definitely wake up any moment. He goes berserk trying to talk to simar asking her to get up. The whole family is distraught to see prem like this. Prem gets down on the doctor’s knees asking him not to take her off the ventilator, as she would wake up any moment. The doctor tries to explain that its of no use, and pleads prem to let him do their work.
Scene 3:
Location: On the road
Roli is determinedly walking on the road, that she won tlet anything happen to simar. A bhakti toli passes by, and a lady comes upto roli saying that she shouldnt cry as the person who thinks of the goddess with a pure heart, never goes empty handed from her shelter. She determinedly starts walking along with them, chanting JAI MATA DI. She arrives at a temple, along with them. she prays to the goddess to give her simar back to her, as she cant live without her.
Roli is gripped by a terrible premonition, that simar might be in danger, but then wards it off with the determination that nothing would happen to simar. She keeps painfully walking on the steps on the stairs that lead to the main temple, all the while praying for simar.
Scene 4:
Location: In the temple and the hospital.
Roli reaches to the main temple finally, after much struggle, in a dishevelled state. A lady gives roli an earthen lamp saying that whoever lights this lamp and prays, gets his desired wish. Roli does the same while chanting JAI MATA DI.
The doctor asks prem to leave the patient aside while they do their work. But prem is berserk and doesnt let go by simar’s side. The doctor tells the family to leave along with prem. Prem fights them off saying that he wont go leaving simar alone. Mataji somehow manages prem to convince that noone wants simart to leave, but keeping her forcibly wont be love, but selfishness on theri part. She asks prem to let her go and achieve salvation, while breaking down herself. Prem is shocked but he finally lets go of simar’s hand.
While on one hand, roli prays fiercely in front of the goddess, in the hospital, simar is taken off the ventilator and her monitors shut down, as prem looks on disbelievingly and the whole family is distraught. The screen freezes on roli’s dishevelled and simar’s numb face.
