Reflecting on their journey, Rubina disclosed the exciting news, saying, “I wish to share with you, we are expecting twins. I have entered my ninth month, and when we first learned about this blessing, Abhinav’s reaction was disbelief. We were overjoyed and excited, taking some time to digest the reality on our way home. The news was so surprising that we didn’t speak to each other until we reached home. The next day, after some blood tests, the reality sank in.”
Amidst the joyful news, the couple embarked on a month-long babymoon to the US, creating precious memories before the twins’ arrival. However, their journey faced a moment of intense anxiety during the first trimester when Rubina experienced a frightening accident. In a vlog, she expressed, “That experience I really can’t express in words. The amount of fear that I had and I felt all hell broke loose. It was my worst nightmare. We arranged for an emergency sonography because I was dying to know that they were safe. I was so worried in those 6/7 hours, and it was very painful. That day I realised that any pregnancy journey is not easy.”
