The Episode starts with Kaushalya crying for Ram. Ram seeks everyone’s blessings. Laxman also takes blessings of parents. Dasharath cries. He hugs and apologizes to Ram. Ram says I m your son, I will always stay in your heart, I will miss you a lot, now permit me to leave. Ram goes to Kaikeyi and says I know, you are also upset like Kaushalya and Sumitra, I want to assure you, that our relation won’t change because of this, you will always be my Choti Maa, our love is strong, this small thing can’t change our love. Ram goes to call out Sita. She comes to him. He gets shocked seeing her in plain clothes.
He asks her what is she doing, she can’t go to the jungle. She says I will accompany you, I m your wife and can’t break my promise. He recalls the promise. She says you promised to keep me along on every Tirat yatra, I promised you to always be with you as your shadow, when you are ready to go on a rough path, I can’t leave you. Ram says there are many hurdles on that path. Sita says when the matter is of duty, I assure you that family will be taken of, my sisters are my shadow, they got the same values, they will manage everything.
Ram says I m sure of that, but I can’t give you a life of vanvasi, did Janak get you married to me for this day. She says I have a right to follow my heart. She holds his hand and says my life will be more hurtful for me than that vanvaas, would you like to see me in this pain, our journey will be good, take me along. He agrees and hugs her. Minister says its tough to control Praja’s anger. Kaushalya says Ram has to go in front of them, there is no other way. Ram and Sita come there. Everyone gets shocked.
Sita smiles and takes blessings. Kaushalya says you are Ram’s wife, his life partner. She blesses Sita. Kaikeyi looks on. Dasharath and everyone cries. Ram, Sita and Laxman greet them and leave. Praja gets angry and want an answer. The man asks Ram who can understand them more than him. They ask him to change his decision and accept the throne.
Ram, Sita and Laxman get into the chariot. The man says we don’t regard Dasharath as the King, he didn’t think about our tensions, he doesn’t care for us, he abandoned his son, we will abandon him, we don’t want such a King. Ram gets shocked.
