Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai 4th December 2018 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com

Naina comes out and notices Tai ji there. She hides. What is Tai ji doing here? Did Ma’am call at home? It cannot be! Why is Tai ji here then? Tai ji keeps looking around for Naina. Naina walks behind a group of kids walking out of the college. Tai ji misses seeing her. She leaves for home.

Kartik is happy. They got us suspended from college. I will get them both rusticated now! Sunaina asks him if Ma’am saw Naina. Kartik and Priyam share that she dint see her face but they took Naina’s name. Sameer will take Naina’s name under pressure. They will be suspended for sure! Sunaina says I know Sameer better than you. He will die but he will never take Naina’s name! She walks away in a huff.

Ma’am asks Sameer to think well before coming to any decision. I give you

tonight’s time. You will either share the name with me tomorrow morning or you will sign this! Sameer walks out of Principal Room with that form.

Anand is packing his bag. Preeti tells her father to settle down there. We will join you. Anand replies that there is no better place than India. Tai ji’s niece tells Anand to see statue of liberty. Bela reprimands Preeti for not being so smart. Preeti replies that she will pass this time. Anand asks her to get 2nd division this time. Preeti notices Naina coming in and suggests that she will make it happen. Anand smiles. Learn something from your sister too. Everyone goes about their work. Anand tells Naina to tell Sameer to study well too. You both should score well.

Munna and Pundit are worried about Ma’am condition but Sameer plans to act all scared yesterday. I will apologize to her and pacify her somehow. His friends are worried. Sameer assures them they both will pass the exams. They correct him. All 3 of us will pass! Sameer recalls Ma’am condition. He leaves on his bike. Munna and Pundit stop an auto but Tai ji is already sitting in it. She insists upon dropping them home. They give in reluctantly.

Naina is still worried thinking about what happened today in college. Preeti asks her why she looks so pale. You will top. Naina hugs her and cries. I made a very big mistake. Preeti gets concerned. Sit down and tell me. Naina tells her everything. Preeti asks her if she is mad. Naina says I know I shouldn’t have done it but it has happened now. I am worried for Sameer. Hope he wont get punished for my mistake. Preeti is sure nothing will happen to either of them. She dint see you. Why are you afraid? Naina says he was asking him to share the name of the girl. Preeti says you know Sameer. He wont say anything. She teases Naina if she just kissed Sameer. Naina hits her playfully. Preeti suggests her to say Om Sai Ram 108 times. Naina reasons that it is a bigger sin. She sits down to write and chant it simultaneously. Preeti sits beside her sister to make her feel better.

Tai ji asks Munna and Pundit what’s going on in college. Munna cracks a lame joke. Tai ji asks about Naina’s studies. I heard that she is having an affair with someone in college. They say yes absentmindedly but then deny. She tells them that she knows who it is. Sameer told me. Munna and Pundit fall in her words for a second. Tai ji says Bholuram told me there is someone. He dint take the name. They understand she is cooking a story. She tries finding out a name but they cook up a story. Tai ji stops the auto and forces them to get out of auto. Munna and Pundit decide to inform Sameer. Tai ji is acting like a spy.

Sameer paces worriedly in his room. Principal Ma’am and his mother’s words echo in his head. Naina calls him just then. She asks him lot many questions at once. How are you? What did Ma’am say? Did she see me? I am really scared. I shouldn’t have closed the door. It’s entirely my fault! He goes quiet. She asks him to say something. I am dying. Sameer apologizes to Naina and tells her Ma’am’s condition. My one year would have been ruined so I told her your name. hNaina looks freaked out. He recalls that Rakesh ji has gone out. You can bring Chacha ji. Naina says he will be insulted so much. Now everyone will know. Tai ji was spying on me outside college too. He affirms. She was questioning Munna too. Naina says Tai ji and Tau ji will not spare me now. I have broken their trust after all. Even Chacha ji will be against us now. He breaks into a smile. I was kidding. Nothing like that happened. She asks him if Ma’am dint say anything to him. He looks at the letter. I dint agree even for once that someone else was in that room. She ended up agreeing. Naina scolds him for joking on that occasion. Don’t repeat it again. He agrees. Stop crying now and focus on your studies. She tells him the same. They end the call. Naina thanks God for saving them.

Next morning, Sameer hands over the form to Ma’am. Principal Ma’am points out that he will waste a year this way. He nods. She advises Sameer not to ruin his life and future without thinking. Will you waste your entire year to save Naina? Sameer insists he was all alone yesterday. Naina was nowhere. She speaks of where everyone will be when he will be repeating his year in college. Think about your family. Think through. Sameer replies that he has made up his mind already.

Precap: Ma’am tells Sameer he dint do the right thing. She turns but sees Naina there. Sameer also notices her.

  1. Guys, still I am worried only about sameer what sort of girl is naina she not even worried about sameer’s future only about her family really she lost all the hopes she think only from her mind.please guys don’t keep hopes on percap she will not misunderstand the situation and sameer will not give his final exams and vishakha will decided to arrange for sameer’s marriage after hearing that be lost his one year of college just because of naina and naina also slap sameer for lying so now we should have hope with sameer how he is going to overcome the difficulties.

    1. Devi don’t know y but this time I don’t agree with u. As I feel Sameer should have told Naina that what all principal said to him including the form one. But he didn’t he didn’t even share this with Munna pandit. Now everyone will say Naina is practical and all, but according to me she would be equally upset if she was knowing it cuz she can never imagine that to happen. And this time Sameer is wrong. Naina’s worries relating her family is normal as her chachaji also will not accept the hug and kiss scene and taiji can do anything.

    2. Exactly Devi. Not once did she tell how embarrassing it would be for saneer and his family too. Started crying off. Sameer really thinks from heart, she cried and he melted even more. I don’t want him to lose a year for Naina. Ofcourse it’s not totally Naina’s fault too, because saneer hasn’t been telling her anything. But still. The way she said things likeshe can’t live without him and all in the music room, all of it seems like fake now. I know it’s very hard being a girl, especially in that era. But still, not once did she even say how terrible it would be fir saneer too.

  2. Wat to say abt naina other than self8sh nd mean.luk hw she freaked out hearing dat he said her name
I understand as a girl v wl b afraid if our family caught n our situation bt luk at her she didnt evn cared abt him at all
Nd as always madam wl write examz nd achieve her dreams nd sameer as always bcm bakra fr her evry need nd her selfish motives.
I dont knw y to show so much drama yesterday if naina has to selfish again

  3. Khushali Shah

Naina would not waste her year for Sameer. She would think of her family only. She blamed Sameer in the school about exam paper theft and when she got to know about Arjun’s thruth she didnot reveal it in front of Sameer.

  4. Priya and Khushali Shah – First of all Naina is not knowing what Sameer is doing with his studies. And during school days she didn’t disclose anything cuz she was knowing Rakesh’s anger very well and Arjun was hee brother.

  5. I don’t actively comment here. I love yudkbh for its realistic approach instead of sugar coated or over the top dramas. While reading updates, I occasionally scroll through comments, and they are very hurtful. Whatever happens in the episode, I see atleast one comment bashing naina to the core. I want to put all those who are saying naina is selfish in the same situation as hers and see what they will do. All those complaining about her getting everything so easily think about the hard work she put into studies from her childhood to be in this stage, she put a lot of effort to balance her family, studies and sameer. May be those who complain about her, don’t love their family, husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend to the fullest because you all want her to take a side. Those who truly love someone cannot take sides, poor souls get the burden of making everyone happy and get judged on the top of it. Pointing fingers is always easy, have some empathy. This is the quality that differentiate the character of naina from others and that’s the reason she has a sameer in her life.

Sorry, if I sounded harsh. I know naina is just a fictional character but I am talking for all those beautiful hearted people out there trying to juggle their job, study, spouse, kids, family and with a single wrong step all the good they have done is forgotten and people only talk about their weaknesses. Unfortunately, this is the sad state of world we are living in.

    1. Dear madhu.

I’ve also been in a similar situation and I’ve also cried. Yes this happened a few years ago, when I was in class 10 but for my conservative family it was a huge thing. I got caught just talking to my boyfriend after school and only my parents were called and told about it, and I didn’t even know I was caught. After going back home, I came clean about it. When my parents finally caught me and my boyfriend on our first date the same year, and insisted on talkimg to his parents so that both sets can control their children, I cried and begged them to leave the matter there because his parents had had guests over and I did not want him or his parents to feel embarrassed. This, despite the fact that it would have been way easier for me to escape my parents wrath if both parents were involved than just mine. But I still did that.

My boyfriend lost a year but that was because he did not study and was not interested in science. So please don’t say things like put yourself in her shoes. Yes it’s embarrassing and overwhelming for a girl, yes it would have been easier for him if he was caught by his parents, yes his parents were not told about us by our teachers. But I still stood up for the right thing because bunking classes for our date was my choice and that’s why we got caught and I stood up for it.

And another thing. I have been a way more achieving girl than Naina. Yes it’s the generation gap and kids now are even more achieving doing tremendously commendable things. I’m not boasting about myself here. No intention of doing so. But I could handle my conservative and strict parents, my boyfriend, my studies and make sure I topped each class, my medical college, my dancing amd performing, painting, adventure sports, writing, and also have a decent image and reputation and have great relationships with my friends and acquaintances. And so I know how hard it is to balance things. And how hard it is to get there. I have had friends who have been international level artists and gotten into Cambridge and ivy leagues for law. It takes years of efforts to reach a place, it takes inborn talent plus a lot and I mean a lot of consistent hard work to get to a stage. I started performing dance at 3 years and even today, despite the hectic schedule, I continue to dance. In 21 years, I’ve performed in over 20 countries, but it didn’t come over night, from group dancingf in temples at age 3-9/10, to solo performances at prestigious stages, I’ve come a long way. Even after 21 years of dancing, I’ve not been able to carve an amazing niche on international level. My dance teacher is 50 and she started dancing when she was 3 years. With almost half a century experience, it’s still not been easy for her and she’s tasting success only from 10-15 years now. So it doesn’t come easy. I’m sure you must be one of those hardworking amazing people who balances a career and a personal life/ household and personal life effortlessly. And you must have worked really hard to get there. To get that marks/promotion/dish right.

On the other hand, Naina, yes, she struggled to study, put in a lot of hardwork, she’s a nerd, I agree. And I’m proud of her and her love and passion for studying. But apart from that what else? Okay she loved Juliet so she emoted her and got into the play. Okay she was a decent student and became the prefect. Fine all that is her hardwork. what else? She won the dance competition in Delhi? Fine good. But didn’t they have kamya? What if kamya hadn’t stepped down? Okay she worked hard for the dance, but it was supposed to be a classical damce. You really think with one week of practice, she could win against people who’ve been practicing for ages? Is that right potrayal? Okay elave that, we can say she is the heroine so she won. But that also she tried because of Sameer right?
What about after coming to college? First few days she spent in trying to convince Sameer to not break up. Then she was obsessed with winning Ms fresher’s. She was bad on stage. Can’t help it. But she got jealous of Sunaina. Look you can’t be good at everything. Then her GS elections, whenever she wants, she’ll give up and put Swati, whenever she wants she’ll stand again and take Swati for granted. Agreed Swati backstabbing is wrong big time. But that doesn’t lessen Naina thinking she owns the world and she has to win. Okay what did she do for the elections? Sameer did all the work. Fine she made a really good speech and also delivered it in the right way during a time of self doubt. I applaud her, it’s not easy to not give up after your ideas have been stolen. Then? What did she do? She gave up her GS thing for Swati because swati’s friendship was more important. Then? The sports team, Sameer did it all. Dandiya, Sameer did it all. She just made a speech and was looking at Sameer all along, how embarrassing. She broke up with Sameer because she wanted to break up. And her and vishakas talk went downhill with vishakha being so prejudiced and Naina going ball I me myself with a winner and stalker behavior.

Don’t get me started on the play. She didn’t even give an audition, she could have told and stood her ground. But no, she stopped blaming poonawala once he gave her the main role. Arey she knew she didn’t act, so she could have found a better actress for the play na, if she was so worried about college reputation. But no, she assumed the play wouldn’t work without her and went ahead. That’s good, she made use of the opportunity given to her and she did very well too. But wasn’t that a tad selfish? I’m in no way not encouraging her from doing good for herself but let that girl have her priorities right. She could have easily explained saneer that she wanted to do the play and asked for his support, he would have been miffermd but you be proud if her. But she didn’t, instead she fought with him.

Why didn’t she retaliate about kartik? After the play she could have complained, confronted, anything. But no, she kept quiet. When she could slap Sameer for trying to kiss her hand, why didn’t she do anything to kartik? Crying in front of saneer, hugging and kissing him as a bout of emotions, that doesn’t make things right. And she came into the room, she closed the door, now he’s in trouble Because of her. Where did her thanedaarni GS go when she was looking the room with only a guy with her?

What I don’t like is Sameer’s growth is not seen. Boys don’t like to study much, okay, he’s laid back, okay, but why aren’t his other talents explored? He could have gotten into the play, but he had to be an overconfident person and dance in a play audition. He writes well, they can show a writing competition. He plays sports well, there could be a sports meet in the college. But no. He’s always showed as being dumb.

See dear, I’m telling from my experience. People thought I was too good for my boyfriend because I aced classes while he barely managed to pass. But they didn’t find him dumb. He had his own life where he was house captain, was into go quizzes at state levels, played all kinds of sports and won, played guitar, sang, and was into debates and stuff. He was my support system, but i was his too. Yes today we aren’t together but that’s for other personal reasons. So let makers show that Sameer is also capable of things and he’s a talented guy who needs channnelising. Let him not be reduced to being Naina’s shadow.

I’m in no way bashing ashi. She’s doing great. I have nothing against Naina, I’ve loved Naina Sameer from a year, and the serial forms a major part of my convo with my best friend. We as family love it and would only hope they stop showing Naina in a slightly negative light.

Hope you understood our pov dear. I had no intention of hurting you or disrespecting your opinion. This was my opinion and you have yours and we both are right in our ways 🙂 Thanks. Peace 🙂

you cant compare your situation with Naina, they were your parents, they will listen to you, they dont judge you,but with Naina its different ,if chacha chachi were her own parents that would be different ,she would have been bold like preeti ,she would have bees said whaterver is in her mind, but with her its different her own father doesnt treat her well, treats her as burden, she doesnt have a say in any thing,,if the principal would have complained in her house getting caught in compromising position, remember, they would not give her chance to react or say anything ,they would have either killed her or Sameer ,remember those days,it happened or got her married to any one ,even her chacha ji would be against them as he had told them to be in limit

      2. Sweta2005,

Dear, I compared my situation to hers because of the comment posted that asked us to think what we would have done being in her shoes. And yes, those were the days. I agree it was harder. But it’s not necessary you have conservative parents back then only. Mine too are super conservative, the only difference is they let me study and made sure I have a career. But if I tell them I want to marry a guy who I’ve chosen, all hell will break lose. When I got caught, they went to the extent of finding a guy for me, and I’m not exaggerating. They’re definitely not terrible like Rakesh of course. But still.

True Naina didn’t know about Sameer and what condition principal ma’am has put forward. But when she freaked out, the first thing that came to her mind was how her family will react, how chahchaji will stop supporting them, how taiji will belittle her. That’s a natural reaction I agree. But after that not once did she mention how embarrassing it would be for Sameer’s mama Mami too, how he’d have to answer stuff to them. Not calling that selfish, but the same day she had told Sameer that he comes first for her. And suddenly her family’s reputation came first now. Sometimes this girl contradicts herself. That’s all.

Why do you all think we hate Naina. We don’t. It’s because we love her is why we are watching yudbh. She’s a nice girl, and I understand her. But in the past few months she’s not behaving like the old Naina at all. People change I agree. People become more mature. But Naina’s behavior is very confusing. And that hurts. That’s all 🙂

  6. Vidha & Madhu – fine naina is struggling between her family and Sameer, vidha sameer told her about the principal madam’s demand but she started worried about her family not even a single word expressed that how sameer will lose his whole year instead naina started crying and as usual sameer has to sacrifice. Here we all understand that 90’s girls have very limited liberty but if she expressed her guilty that because of her only sameer got this punishment then it is justified after that sameer inform her that everything was ok then it is fine but she never said any thing about his future only worried what will happen to her after everyone knows this. This makes us look that naina is selfish

  7. hi Vidha and madhu( especially for you both) please don;t mistake me and i just want to clear that Naina characterization is mismatching with school days. I know that Naina is belongs to 90’s and she doesnot have guts to face her family whatever she thinks is fine but i just want that she should also equally feel for sameer.

1.Sameer told her the Prinicipal’s demand either he has to disclose the girl’s name or he should miss his final exams but after hearing that she started worrying about herself and about her family….but not single word that she expressed about Sameer’s future…..we are excepting a word from her for sameer not that she personally go to Prinicipal and accept herself and it will definitely not happen….

    2. Naina is very much keen to understand that Sameer has diclosed her name or not where comes the trust, in one way i feel that sunaina and Preethi understand Sameer better than Naina.Sunaina confidentally told Karthik and Priyank that Sameer will not disclose her name and even preethi to Naina.

    3. Madhu the way you see naina is very well understand by others too but why Naina always take sameer for granted he also have a family and what will happen if does not give his final exam then his step father and grandma will make fun of him and his mother will get insulted.

    4. Once she started crying sameer understands her and changed the topic then he said that it is a joke and asked her to concentrate on her studies….such concern is not seen from Naina side these days but the same can be very well protaryed in school days and that concern only made sameer to fall for naina and now it is vise versa.

    5. i agree now that whatever Vishakha feels about Naina is 100% true.

    6. Finally Madhu it is a fictional character – but it is good for us to analyse such things and see that how we react at times and what need to be changed to be a better person and the way we think will not be correct and justified for other persons . When it comes to Naina,i have wrong impression that she oscillate between family and sameer but now it is very clear that her priority is always her family now.

    1. You totally spoke my thoughts Devi. Absolutely. We are not angry at Naina for one wrong thing. She hasn’t done anything right in her college days. There’s a stark difference between how she was back in school, when she was meek but sweet and selfless, and how she is now- little self centered and wants things according to her whims and fancies and thinks the world of herself. She’s changing as a human being and we don’t like that.

  8. Agree with madhu…n remember she didn’t even once blamed sameer that y did u take my name..Or u should not have taken my name…She freaked out thinking about the extreme consequences that’s it..I don’t know what’s selfish in this… n as per precap I guess she will accept in front of principal..that it was her…n will again prove her love n loyalty…. naina is shown like a simple girl n not over the top heroine..So accept her Like that..Stop bashing her for no reason

  9. Devi I’m ur ardent follower..Love to read ur comments…But is naina actually aware that sameers one year will be wasted..He said at the end it was all a joke..Had he told the complete truth to naina n then also naina remain unaffected then u could say so..But I guess situation is different

  10. Ishu about precap i guess that sameer will hide it and she will not aware about the situation and sameer will not give his final exams it seems….

  11. Wow guys!! You all rocked it👍…I like when we all put our views here and I just enjoy commenting here and reading comments…
So when everyone is debating whether Naina is selfish or not I will not say anything till they show what will she do for Sameer after knowing that Sameer has sacrificed his one year to save her prestige….
Actually I felt that Naina was not worried for herself ‘this’ time but about the future of their relationship(which is equally important for both)…She knows her family very well and has seen the consequences of Arjun-Shefali relationship and now she fear that because she broke Chachaji’s promise he will also not support their love…And she can’t bear any breakup and a new Sharad. And only because of this fear she started crying which is quite natural…So I will not say that Naina is selfish here…
But really I am feeling bad for Samaina…The’First’ of love is always memorable but in a good way…But they have to regret their First Hug(Front) and First kiss…😥
And I can’t understand what type of Principal is this?? Is wasting a student’s one year and not letting him give exams is the punishment for this little mistake when she saw only Naina escaping out of window… Really this principal is too much…😡Now Naina should definitely tell Principal about Kartik’s doing…Then see what action will she take…😒😒…But Principal’s punishment is not at all justified…

  12. Vidha, ishu, ashu, madhu and sunshine, let me tell you one thing that i started watch this serial just because of Naina( school girl) the girl with all the requisite qualities and as simple as since I belongs to 90’s but now it is more of Sameer occupies the show but i don;t want it to like that, there should be equal preference show on both the lead character and there should be more in deepth scene which in turn delivers their feel instead of words but i personally feels that many scenes left incomplete.

in school days we can easily corelate the things but it is missing nowdays. hence audience are now oscillating whether Naina’s character is negative or positive. hope i feels that sameer never let naina to know the fact since it affects her exam results even prinicipal madam will not disclose it since she need a best result and naina tops every year, she bothers only for her college reputation.

    1. Devi n Sunshine, I totally agree with both of you. First of all she started crying for her family without thinking about Sameer’s family and Sameer though Sameer had told her many times about same thing but she doesn’t even think about it.

  13. If you guys have remembered that because of Sameer’s nanaji she missed her debat compitation.
