Actor Rohan Gandotra, who was last seen in the show Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka in 2019 is making a comeback with the show ‘Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana’. Just like many others, Rohan didn’t get to do much work in 2020 but the actor is glad to be back now.
In a recent interview with BT, he talked about it and shared, “I don’t consider 2020 at all because nothing happened that year and it was full of uncertainty. I was trying to set up my business along with other things, so that kept me occupied. I was doing some web content so that I could manage my life in Mumbai,”.
Rohan who started his television career in 2014 with the show Everest is known for his role in shows like Kaala Teeka and Dil Se Dil Tak among others.
Talking about his career so far, he shared, “But having said that, my career graph too went down in the pandemic just like everyone else’s. First, the break owing to COVID happened and then the budgets were slashed on TV. But post COVID I have been offered good web shows and now it is picking up again. In my new show also I am hoping that things move well for me,” says the actor.
Comparing OTT and television, he says that at both places payments differ and both have their own way of working. “In OTT projects the payment is a little higher because the projects wrap up in a month whereas television shoots go on for a good amount of time. But each one has its own charm and for me, it’s important to be working,”.
