Renowned actress Yukti Kapoor, celebrated for her stellar performances in television hits like Keh Doon Tumhein, Siya Ke Ram, Agneephera, and Madam Sir, is thrilled to announce the premiere of her latest film, Break The Silence: Evil Within Us, at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival (Festival De Cannes Marche Du 2024). Produced by Minara Films and directed by Hemant Chauhan, the film also stars Anupriya Goenka, Rohit Phatak, and Priya Raina.

Speaking about the film, Yukti shared, “When I got a call from the casting director, Sabir, he mentioned that the character had a mental disorder. Normally, characters are bubbly, revengeful, or agitated, but this one was different. I knew that if I acted too exaggerated, it would come across as funny, which I wanted to avoid. I approached the role carefully to ensure it felt authentic and elicited empathy for the character’s struggles. I put a lot of thought into striking that balance. Now, seeing the recognition we’re receiving, I’m thrilled. I can’t wait for the film to be available on an OTT platform so everyone can watch it and share their feedback. Working with Hemant sir was an amazing experience. He’s a fantastic director who really gives you space to perform. When a director makes you feel comfortable, it makes all the difference. So overall, it was a rewarding and enjoyable experience.”
