At night in KaIra room.
Karthik is waken up by Naira’s voice.
Naira:Karthik get up na.
Karthik gets up and cups Naira’s face.
Karthik:What happened jaan?Are you alright?
Naira:No Karthik I’m not alright.I’m hungry and I want ice cream.And butterscotch flavour.Yummmmm.I love it.
Karthik:Jaan you saw some dream or what?How will I get butterscotch ice cream now.
Naira(adamant):No I want it now.Now means now..
Karthik:But jaan its 3:00 a.m. at night.You sleep now tomorrow I’ll get you ice cream.(yawns)..Even I’m sleepy.
Naira:Karthik you’re so bad.I did not become fat also and from now only you’re behaving like this.I just wanted a ice cream and you cannot even get that for me.You don’t love me now..
Naira starts crying.
Karthik gets confused.Then he remembers about the mood swings in pregnancy.
Karthik:Oh god your mood swings started..
He smiles and hugs Naira tightly.
Karthik:I’m sorry jaan.I did not intend to make you cry.You know na I love you very much.More than anything even more than my life.And it does not matter how you look I’ll always keep loving you.
Naira calms down.
Karthik releases her and cups her face.
Karthik:So you want to have ice cream right.
Naira nods like a little baby.
Naira:And butter scotch..
Karthik:Ya butter scotch..Okay lets go and get you your favourite butter scotch ice cream.
Naira gets happy and and hugs Karthik and kisses on his cheeks tightly.
Naira:Thank you so much Karthik.
She squeals like a kid and goes to get ready.
Karthik(touches his cheeks and smiles):She also became a kid it seems.I’ve never seen her so happy before.Moodswings
Naira and Karthik get ready and go down and both of them collide with two other people.They get scared and switches on their mobile light to see the face of them.And even they two other people do the same.They switch on light and see each others face and get scared.
All four(scream):AAAAHHHHH.
All four:This voice.
They look carefully at the person standing in front of them.
Naira:Tanu
Karthik:Big B
Yes they are none other than Rishi and Tanu.
All four:What are you doing here at this time?
Karthik:Don’t tell me big b Tanu also wanted to ice cream and therefore got you up.
Rishi:Ya you’re right Karthik.She started crying when I told that it is late night and we can go tomorrow saying that I don’t love her now.But why are you asking this?Don’t tell me Naira also.
Karthik:Ya big b the same thing happened with me.Even she started crying saying the same.These sisters are very much alike.
Naira:Sorry Karthik.Don’t know why i started crying for this small thing.
Tanu:Its okay Naira.I know its because of our mood swings.Its common in pregnancy.Sorry from my side also Rishi.
Karthik:Its okay.
Rishi:Ya its okay.Mood swings can’t be controlled.
Karthik:Now lets go and have your favourite ice cream.
Naira & Tanu(happily):Ya lets go..
Just then they hear a sound.
Sound:No need to go anywhere.
Naira and Tanu hold their respective partners being afraid.
Just then the light comes and they see that its Ishaan standing at the door holding two packets in his hand.
Everyone:Ishaannnn…
Naira:Where are you coming from at this time idiot?
Ishaan:Oh hello I went for you both only okay.See this.
He shows the two packets he is holding.He keeps it on table and takes out two bars of ice cream.One is butterscotch and one is chocolate.Naira and Tanu’s favourite.Naira and Tanu squeals like a kid and immediately run to the ice cream boxes,They open them and start eating without paying any head to anyone while Karthik,Rishi and Ishaan stare them with open mouth.
Ishaan comes to Karthik and Rishi.
Karthik:Btw Ishaan how did you know that they both will need ice cream at midnight.
Rishi:Ya Ishaan.How you knew?
Ishaan:Wo actually bhai I was not getting sleep due to excitement so thought to talk to my best friend google about mood swings in pregnancy.There I got to know that it may happen in pregnancy that the pregnant women feels hungry at mid night and may demand to eat things like ice cream,sweets and other this type of this things.I thought this both love ice cream so much so they might need it today only.So I went and brought their favourite ice cream for them.
Naira:Thank you Ishaan.You’re the best.
Tanu:Ya Ishaan.You love us the most.So you thought about this.
Naira:Ya see your brothers they were sound asleep and snoring.
Ishaan:Okay guys.But you both don’t eat like there is no tomorrow.If you need I’ll bring more.And moti please control alright.
Naira(smiles):I’ll not mind this time because you did so much for us but next time if I need again then..
Karthik:I’ll bring for you na..
Tanu:And for me..
Rishi:I’ll bring for you..
Ishaan:I can bring for both of you anytime you want.
Tanu and Naira:Thank you so much.We love you Ishaan.
Naira:Next time we’ll directly come to you only.
Ishaan smiles and turns around.He sees Karthik and Rishi giving him death glare.
Ishaan:Hey bhai and big b.Now don’t give me that look okay.You could have also done it in my place if you both have used your brains.Arrey sorry I forgot.How can you use something which you don’t have.Right..
Ishaan gives them a mocking smile and goes from there.Tanu and Naira also finish their ice cream and go to their rooms.
Karthik:Big B this Ishaan..He became hero in front of our wives and made us zero.
Rishi:You’re right Karthik.Why didn’t we think about it?This was such a simple thing he did.
Karthik:Ya big b.Simple but heart touching.
Rishi:You’re in my side pr his side?
Karthik:Of course your side Big B.We’ve to do something to again become hero for our wives and make that Ishaan..
Rishi:What?
Karthik:Nothing.Let him also remain hero.Afterall he is also going to become chachu na.
They pan something and go to their rooms.
Next morning in Kaira room.
Naira gets up and sees Karthik’s side empty.
Naira:Where did Karthik go so early?He never wakes up before me calling him.
Naira gets ready and comes downstairs.She meets Tanu and Ishaan on the way.Tanu tells her that even she has not seen Rishi since morning.They all go down and see Rishi and Ishaan wearing t-shirt and pants and caps and they’re packing basket with food and juice and other items.
Naira:Karthik..Jiju..What you both are doing?
Ishaan:Ya..what is all these?
Karthik:Wo actually we thought its so happy time and we got such a good news but we did not celebrate well.
Rishi:So I and Karthik decided to celebrate this good news we all will go for a picnic.
Just then Karan and Naina also come with Sanaya.
Tanu:Bhai..bhabhi..you also..
Naira:You knew this.
Naina:Actually Karthik called in the morning and informed us so we came.
Naira:Wow..(goes and hugs Karthik)..Thank you so much Karthik.You’re the best.
Tanu:Ya..(hugs Rishi)..Thank you so much Rishi..
Naina:But is it okay to go out at this time?
Rishi:Don’t worry bhabhi we’ll take care of them.Moreover they’re only going to enjoy there and not to work right.
Tanu:And also its just the first month..
Naira:So everything packed and loaded.Shall we leave..
Everyone:Yess….
They all leave happily.
