You Never Know – A RIANSH LOVE STORY (CHAPTER 4)

RIDDHIMA’S POV

I got a text from an unknown number the next day.
why r u mad at me??
I realised it was Vansh. I ignored his message. Another few followed.
i know ur reading this, theres literally a blue tick feature
pls just tell me what i did
I saved his number as ”ata maji satakli”.
He called and I decided to take pity on him. Which didn’t mean I wasn’t still pissed.
”What?” I said as a greeting.
”Is everything okay?” I hated how genuinely concerned he sounded.
”No,” I said simply.
”What happened?” he asked.
“I caught my boyfriend making out with your sister,” I told him.
”WHAT?” he just about yelled.
”Go figure,” I muttered angrily.
”You didn’t think I knew about that, did you?” he asked.
I gave him an answer in my silence.
”I didn’t! I never know who my sister’s latest conquest is,” he pleaded.
”How do I know you’re not lying?” I asked.
”I’m not. I wouldn’t do that to you,” he replied.
I hated that I believed him, even when I had just found out that another man, my own boyfriend, had been lying to me. I was done with men. But. I just knew from his earnest tone that he wasn’t lying.
”Okay,” I conceded.
He sighed in obvious relief.
”I’m sorry he cheated on you. What an a*sh*le,” he said, compassionately.
”Well, at least I’m single and up for grabs now. I need our arrangement more than ever,” I said, trying to infuse some humor into the situation.
”So do I,” he said quietly before I hung up.
