Sameer and Naina look at the arrangements in their poolside. Many ladies look on.
Voiceover – Sameer:
God does everything for the right reason. It was God’s game of showing us a real dream by showing us a fake world.
Sameer and Naina cannot see anything. She wants to go closer to take a look but he reminds her that Abhishek had advised them against it. She reminds him that this is their bungalow and not anyone else’s. They step outside. Kanji follows them with an umbrella. Sameer and Naina look at the set. They talk to Abhishek. Anant Mahadevan shall be reaching soon. Even Kanji is curious to see the actors. I am eager to be a part of films. Sameer tells him that it is an ad shoot. One of the models enter just then. He walks past Naina and Sameer. They have a fan moment.
Voiceover – Sameer:
I thought that even I can become hero. Everyone will be 0 in front of me once I become a hero!
Kanji tells Naina that Sameer looked just like a model while he was getting his pic clicked with the model. Naina seconds him. Sameer smiles broadly.
There is shortage of one member. The guy checks everyone’s hand and finds Sameer’s hand just perfect. He asks for Sameer’s hand shocking Sameer, Naina and Kanji. Kanji says you ask for hand for marriage. The guy asks Sameer that Anant Sir wants to shoot with you. He will become second hero. Sameer and Naina excitedly ask about Sameer’s dialogue but the guy explains that he will say everything without saying it. He explains the scene to them. Ad is small only. Naina smiles. It will be easy for him. Sameer notices Anant entering. The guy peps him up. Naina says yes on Sameer’s behalf. The guy tells him to rehearse for his cheers scene. The ad will happen in an hour. Naina and Sameer practise the scene inside while the shooting starts outside.
Anant tries one more time with the model. Abhishek goes to bring Sameer. Sameer comes there in shades and blue denims. Naina is stopped at a certain point. A girl explains Sameer his scene. Anant tells the cameraman to only take shot of Sameer’s arm. They take two shots of the scene. The audiences clap. Anant calls the shot fine. Naina asks Anant about Sameer’s acting. Anand says he has a charming, innocent face. The crew member again boosts Sameer. I think our industry is going to get another top actor. Anant tells Sameer to come to Bombay and meet him sometime.
Voiceover – Naina:
We felt as if our dreams got wings that day!
At night, Naina talks excitedly about the ad. Everyone was praising you more than the other model. He acts modest but then admits that she is right. The model was jealous. His face was worth a watch! She says I would have looked at him only if I could take my eyes off you. He asks her if she really thinks he looks like the other famous actors. She nods. Why else did I marry you? They lie down as it is midnight.
Voiceover – Sameer:
Neither of us could sleep that day. We kept dreaming of when we will go to Bombay.
Naina sits up with a start. Are you on the same page? He says the names of famous actors.
Voiceover – Naina:
That was the day when we realised what we want to do!
Munna tells Sameer it is no joke. Rewa compliments Sameer. He is so handsome and talented. Naina speaks of what they witnessed yesterday. Munna and Pundit are concerned. Where will you stay in Bombay? How will you become hero? Rewa reasons that even Shahrukh Khan dint have a Godfather. He still became a hero. Sameer’s friends end up supporting him. How will we live here without you? Sameer hugs his friends. Rewa asks them when they are going. Naina shares that they will speak to Papa and Chacha ji first.
Anand asks Sameer and Naina why they called them here. Naina and Sameer gesture at each other to speak up. Seeing everyone quiet, Rakesh asks them to say something. Why was this emergency meeting called here today? Naina shares that shooting happened at their home yesterday. Bela gets excited. Did Salman come or Shahrukh? Anand smiles seeing her excitement. Naina and Sameer tell them everything in detail. Sameer wants to go to Bombay to become an actor! Anand tells her that it was a lame joke. Sameer denies. I am serious about it. Anand reprimands him for speaking like that. Naina says Anant Sir spoke highly of Sameer. He even asked us to meet him in Bombay whenever we go there. Rakesh calls them fools. Anand adds that it isn’t an easy job. We know you are upset about your boutique. It is natural to think like this in this condition. Get this idea out of your head! Bela seconds him. She asks Naina what happened to her. Since when did you start thinking like this? Rakesh blames Sameer for the changes in her. Naina reasons that even Shahrukh went there and he became a big star. The elders try to face reality but Sameer announces that they have decided to go to Bombay. Rakesh replies that they have never listened to their elders till date and wont even do that today. Do as you want. Anand tells them that he fought for them with everyone but he cannot be a part of this foolishness. Why pretend to seek our approval when you have made up your mind already? All the elders walk out of there one by one.
Voiceover – Sameer:
We will make sure our dreams come true.
Precap: All the couples are doing Karvachauth puja. Naina pinches Sameer on his feet as she bends to touch his feet. Sameer shouts but Naina jokes that an ant bit him.
