Rakesh asks Sameer to come. We have to find her. Where did you leave her? We have to go back to check there! Gopal knocks at their door. Rakesh tells him he will sort his problem later. We are in a rush now. Gopal says I have come to help you. I don’t like your face but I am a Mumbaikar. I am a human first. Everything comes later. I know everyone everywhere. I can call people and help you find your daughter! Rakesh thinks for a moment and then nods. Gopal calls his friends. Vanita, Sahiba and Sejal look on from the door. Gopal asks Naina’s details. Rakesh is confused about her age; her clothes. Sameer tells Gopal. She was last seen in Andheri Station. Gopal informs some guy named Bhonsle. Sameer shares her description. Vanita wonders how he can tell so much in detail about his Papa’s
Sejal asks Sameer about the station on which they got down. Sameer tells her. Vanita asks them why they look so upset. Sejal tells her that Sameer and Naina went to Andheri Station. Naina went missing since then. Vanita looks around the house while Sameer and Gopal are talking. She asks Sameer why Naina went with him. She wants to become a heroine too? Rakesh denies. She wants to become CA. She went to fill the form. They were going together but I had some work so I couldn’t go. He collides with Sahiba and backs off. Gopal suggests Sameer and Rakesh to come to police station to file report. Vanita says it is Rakesh’s daughter. Why does Sameer have to go? Gopal replies that Naina went with Sameer after all.
Voiceover – Sameer:
This ordinary push was going to create a big mess in future!
Nirmala ji confronts Rakesh as soon as they come downstairs. Someone informed me. She asks Sameer why he had to go in a local train. You could have taken a taxi. He reminds her that she only told him to avoid a taxi to save money. Nirmala ji nods. I have to answer for both of you! Vanita asks her who two she is pointing at. Nirmala ji says I was talking about Naina and Rakesh. She turns to Rakesh. You could have told me. Nirmala ji backs off. Gopal tells her not to waste their time then. We have to file the FIR asap. They hear the honk of a car and look on. Sameer and Naina run towards each other as soon as Naina comes to the society. Nirmala ji, Vanita, Gopal, Rakesh and Sejal look on. Rakesh calls out to her and hugs her before they can hug each other.
Voiceover – Sameer:
Have you ever tried to hold your breath under water? You need control to show that! I had to show a similar control back then. For a second I thought that I should let the world go to hell but then I thought to wait!
Sameer and Vanita ask Naina where she was. Vanita asks her what she is doing with her husband. He shares that he was stuck in red light. He honks at Naina and recognizes her as their new tenant. She says I haven’t seen you before. He introduces herself as Vanita’s husband. You are Preeti’s relative, right? He talks to her about Rakesh and Sameer. My wife does not tell me much. Sejal comes over to gossip about everyone. I overheard them talking. He notices her tensed. I was going home and saw you. You can join me if you want. I am going home only. She denies. He says seems like you don’t trust me.
Voiceover – Naina:
I wouldn’t have been happier to see Vanita before. Her photo in her husband’s wallet saved me that day! Back then, life was different and difficult.
Vanita’s husband says I understand today how beneficial it is to have wife’s photo in your wallet. You weren’t there yet you helped us! Rakesh and Naina thank Jatin. Vanita and Jatin head home. Rakesh, Naina and Sameer also go upstairs. Nirmala ji makes faces as everyone goes to their respective homes.
Naina is still very much scared. Sameer follows her inside the house.
Rakesh thanks Gopal for helping them who tells him to take care of Naina.
Sameer hugs Naina. She cries holding him tight. Tu Mile Dil Khile plays. He asks her where she was. I was so scared. For a second I thought I lost you forever. She says the same. He tells her he wont leave her hand ever. Let anyone think whatever they want to! Rakesh looks away seeing them thus. They part. Rakesh asks Naina how she got lost in Mumbai. Ahmedabad is also a big city. You never got lost there. Sameer requests him not to scold Naina. She wouldn’t have eaten anything. You must be scared of the crowd. Rakesh says I am still shaking. I thought we will be safe but we were almost caught. He asks them to check the envelope.
Flashback:
Guard gives a letter to Rakesh. My secretary Ma’am wanted it but I had to give it to you as it is yours. Rakesh checks it. Sejal and Vanita look on intently but Rakesh does not show anything.
Naina looks at the photos and gets tensed. Rakesh asks them why they asked the guy to deliver the photos here. It is good that I got hold of it or we would have been out on the streets by now! Naina goes inside quietly.
Naina and Sameer are lying down holding each other close. He kisses her on her forehead. Rakesh shifts in his bed. He hears some sound and asks aloud if a mouse got inside. Naina smiles. Sameer plays music so as to douse the sound. He holds Naina close. Rakesh shouts at them to shut it off. Let me sleep! Naina tells Sameer to let it be but he refuses. They drop the jug in the process. Rakesh comes to their room shouting. Sameer opens the door. Sleep peacefully. Rakesh says how I will speak peacefully amidst this sound. I haven’t slept peacefully since I have come here! I will try.
Rakesh opens his eyes to check and hears no sound. He smiles in relief.
Sameer plays the music on low volume which wakes up Rakesh again. He increases the volume intentionally to drown his shouts. Rakesh takes the keys and walks out of the house. Sameer and Naina are holding each other close.
Rakesh is surprised to see the city still awake. They don’t sleep at night or what? He tries to open the door of Sahiba’s apartment using his key by mistake. Sahiba peeks out of the eyehole and is shocked to see Rakesh.
Precap: Rakesh falls atop Sahiba as soon as the door opens. Vanita comes running there. Sameer lies to everyone that Rakesh’s brain does not function properly.
