The Episode starts with Naina punctures her own cycle tyre and wonders if Sameer will help her. Sameer calls Nanu from public booth and asks her to give call to Vishaka. Nanu gives call to Vishaka. Sameer tells her that he doesn’t know that parents give bribe to kids. Vishaka asks what nonsense. Sameer says I haven’t earn it, but now I will. He says he will become head boy of school. Vishaka says it is impossible and asks him to stop trying to be like him. He says he will become head boy in the upcoming elections and asks her to bring her husband and son. Vishaka gets upset.
Principal addresses to the students and says even this year, the head boy elections will be held in next year and says one candidate is Arjun. Rakesh asks Arjun to win and make him proud. Principal asks if someone wants to stand in elections. Sameer raises his hand and says he wants to become head boy. Naina’s voiceover says she doesn’t know that this will open new chapter in her life. Rakesh asks Arjun not to be scared of him. Principal gives them best wishes and says next month there will be a cricket match, the max runs earned and the maths and science test marks earned will be added and calculated to get the winner and says that person will be head boy. Sameer tells his friends that he has to do something with maths and science.
Nanu tells Vishaka that he didn’t feel good when she hurt Sameer. Vishaka says she hurt him intentionally and compared him with Rohan so that he can stand on his feet and study well. Nanu asks do you think he will become head boy. Vishaka says but he has taken a initiative. She goes.
After school ends, Naina waits for Sameer. She thinks come and help me. It was like her first test of her first love. Munna says he forgot his lunch box and goes inside to get it. Sameer looks at Naina’s punctured cycle. Naina’s voiceover says she acted to be helpless. Sameer sits on his bike and is riding it towards Naina. Munna comes out calling Sameer and saying that bike brakes are not working. Sameer loses the balance and falls down. Even Naina falls down in the muddy water. Sameer tries to help her. Munna tells him that Rakesh is coming to help her get up. Rakesh scolds her for falling in the pit and asks her to get up. Naina comes home with her clothes and face smeared with mud. Bela and Tai ji are shocked. Bela asks how did she fall? Naina says from cycle. Pooja brings water bucket and pours water on her head. Preeti gives her towel. Naina’s voiceover says she went through cold water challenge 27 years back, but she was sad as Sameer left her there.
Sameer tells his friends how he will become head boy. His friend says that they shall hide the chits so that even spy can’t catch them. Nanu hears them and gets upset. Naina sees Sameer’s pic and thinks he don’t like her, and that’s why she decided to go to Vanasthali school. She fills the form.
Nanu comes to Sameer and says when I started new business, I suffered a big loss, then I got a govt offer, my friends told me to take bribe and become rich, and said that nobody will know, but I thought I will know. He says then I have decided not to cheat even if I am failing. Sameer promises him that he will never cheat.
Next day, his friends tell that he needs to work hard and study to get good marks. Sameer asks them to find some good teacher. Naina is upset. Preeti asks why she is upset. Naina says no and thinks if he had no interest in me then why shall I show interest in him. She asks Preeti to change place. Sameer and his friends ask Sanjay to teach him maths and science and gives him Samatha fox poster and music cassette. Sanjay gets happy. Naina’s voiceover tells that in those days, people used to feel proud of their music collection. She says sometimes heroine and hero’s path crosses over books, and asks how? Naina looks at Sameer.

I am in love with this show.
I love those movies too but this serial is set in 1989/90 and Jo jeeta wahi Sikandar wasn’t even released then but they should play QSQT and Maine pyar Kiya songs
Ya I know this show is set in 1989-90 . That’s why i m saying they can use CINEMATIC LIBERTY.
As there are many beautifu songs wil suit SAINA chemistry ehich got released little later
Nice episode but the twist was unexpected. Thought that naina and sameer will talk but that twist was also funny. It showed the childishness of sameer.He wanted to help her but when his friend said u made librarians daughter fell and now who will fight with him. He ran away without helping her to get up and didn’t atleast say sorry. Fine ur show is really postive, intresting and all that. But plz increase the phase. It is very slow and plz reduce some narration.
We understand the author want to explain how things stood at that time but because of the explanation some time is wasted.
Hai harsha i think sameer is not childish but he had a record of appearing in wrong place at wrong time. So manoj might have said so.Because manoj knows nainas family and thought that they may misunderstand sameer if he help naina. Also mr.rakesh have track record of fighting for nothing. So when munna pursuded him sameer might have went with him.. It is not childishness but fear that he may be abused again.
Also the story is going a little slow but its ok in initial stages instead of taking unnecessary leaps
May be u r true neha.May be he is afraid but if there was better justification it would have been good like the voiceover saying that i learnt the truth of sameers behavior on the day after a long time or something it would have been better..Also i dont mean to jump leaps or something. But a little increase speed in telling the story . I also what to see many tracks and twists in this 2 years of their intermediate .
I didn’t understand whether sameer cares for naina.But sometimes he behaves he cares for her but sometimes he behaves like another
Understand one thing bhaskar.It is teenage love story that too in initial stages. It is proved naina have feeling for sameer but there is no clear indication that he have feelings for. But by seeing his behaviour we can guess something like he saying i have no mood to smoke after naina saved him and looked at him and his nodding at her when she touched his grand fathers legs. Also yesterday it was not clear but it appears he wanted to give her lift.But in that time rich boys used to behave more or less like that. We can see it in 80s and 90s films
Yes i also felt the same. It would have been better if they showed sameer also have feelings for naina.Ok after they may have hatered or misunderstanding

This is a wonderful show after krphb. Really good watching it daily. Why sony tv shows crime patrol or kapil sharma show or kbc in weekends. They can retelecast these shows in weekends.Those who missed the weekly episodes can watch them naa.
Nice show. Just awesome to watch.But plz show it nicely. Some shows start off very well but after some lose the pace and turns into something else.Also plz don’t take any leaps atleast for sometime.There are many angles that can be explored like sameers brother rohan, nainas brother arjun. Also plz don’t show sameer dating another girl and all that because it will be totally melodramatic.
As this show is promising something new let it be like that

Thats true mary taiji charcter depicts the mindset of people of the as the voice over said love marriage were considered as paap and all that at the time. So i also feel that they wanted to develop a nice track for arjun nainas brother.So they are making a set up for it

Mary taiji dont hate Christians. But as the narrator said people used to have very narrow minds at that time. Love marriages and divorce are very rare at that time. So they thought if they go to their house they must do suddhi.
But i think safali and arjun must love so that the family will come out of such thought
Enjoying the serial. Every well directed and apt charecters have acted very well. 1990s was very much like what is shown. Tiny details have been taken care of. Hope it’s tempo doesn’t go down like other serials. Right now it’s up to the mark. Well done.
