Sameer and Naina look at their hotel room in wonder. He even pays tip to the bellboy. Naina asks him why he is wasting so much money. He shushes her. This is an ideal room! Look at everything and the view from the window. He jumps in excitement and checks the bathroom. It has bathtub! I was right. That hotel was a waste. We wasted an entire day there. We will have our honeymoon here! She gets shy. He sits on the bed instead of kissing her. This is such a plush mattress!
Voiceover – Naina:
Men generally compliment their wives on their honeymoon but Sameer was only busy complimenting the room, the bed, and everything else but me. I couldn’t understand what was so special about the room. I understood one thing that he cribs and gets irritated when things don’t work his way.
Tai ji invites the neighbours in Arjun and Juhi’s wedding. One lady speaks of Shefali. Tai ji speaks badly about Shefali. My Juhi is way better. Another lady asks Tai ji if the wedding will be as grand as Naina’s. Another lady is sure nothing can beat Naina’s grand wedding but Tai ji vows to have a grander wedding. They dint invite us in the wedding and now even I wont call them! They are younger to us! Tau ji comes downstairs. He is angry with Anand for how he backstabbed him. Tai ji tells him not to take it to his heart. He passes out right in front of them. Everyone rushes to his side and feed him water. Pralay cries in a corner. A neighbour lady tells Pralay to call Anand but Tai ji tells them against it. The lady insists. They are family members after all. They wont ditch you! They take Tau ji inside.
Anand plays a cassette. Bela asks him what he is doing. Anand says I am only doing what Naina does to bring a smile on everyone’s face. Preeti smiles hearing the song. It is our favourite song. We used to dance madly on this one! She sits down sadly. Anand asks Bela if she too used to dance on this song by hiding behind the curtain. She nods but then turns sad again. Anand asks them to dance but they make a sad face. Anand covers his face with a dupatta and starts dancing. Preeti joins him. Bela too cannot hold herself back and ends up smiling. They pull her for dance too.
Voiceover – Naina:
If Pralay had shared the message with Chacha ji on time then this disaster wouldn’t have happened.
Tau ji calls out repeatedly to Anand but he is busy dancing with everyone. The music is too loud. Tau ji throws his slippers at the recorder to stop it. Everyone looks at him.
Naina baths and wears suit again. He asks her why she wore this. We aren’t going to some jagran. Dint you understand that Dimpy was taunting you? From where do you bring such dresses? What did you wear? He goes outside. Naina looks at herself in the mirror. She changes into a skirt and top. Sameer asks her (from the bathroom) about the shower. He steps out wearing a towel and is impressed seeing her dress. She turns towards him but closes her eyes feeling shy. Sameer turns his back to her but then thinks of something naughty. He closes the bathroom door intentionally to make her believe he has gone inside. She is shocked to see him still standing there and turns. Jaane Do Na song plays as he walks towards her. She lowers her eyes seeing him standing right behind her. He picks something from the dressing table and moves really close to her. She turns to go but he holds her hand and pulls her closer.
Voiceover – Naina:
Dhak dhak dhak dhak! This is how our hearts were beating that day! We may have become husband and wife but we were still hesitant. It is about those days when husband and wife also took a lot of time to actually become husband and wife mentally and physically.
Naina and Sameer are about to kiss when the landline rings. A guy tells Naina that the breakfast will end in 30 minutes. You will be charged otherwise. She tells Sameer to come. He tells her not to focus on money. Think about love. She insists upon having free breakfast.
Voiceover – Sameer:
Naina might be a topper but that day I figured out that Naina is 0 in matters of love. We had been married for more than a day but the honeymoon level was 0 only.
Tau ji asks Pralay to come to them. Tai ji throws the dupatta on Bela. Tau ji asks them how much more will they insult them. Bela asks them why are saying so. Tai ji says we saw everything. she scolds Pralay for dancing happily with Anand’s family. He (her husband) fell down. There was so much commotion downstairs. Everyone heard it and came except Anand. Anand is shocked. I knew nothing about it. Tau ji rues bringing his baby brother to the city from town. You backstabbed me. He coughs badly. Anand is concerned but his brother tells him he is dead for him. Tau ji tells Anand not to live in any misunderstanding. You think your brother will die anytime now as he is old but I will show you the consequence of what you did. Only one of us will live in this society from now onwards! Saying so, he walks out with his wife and son. Anand feels bad.
Bela tells Anand not to worry so much. They were angry which is why they said so much. A neighbour lady told me that Bhaisahab passed out and got hurt. They even sent Pralay to call us but! Don’t think too much about it. Anand asks for a cup of tea to lighten the mood.
Naina asks Sameer where he was. I was waiting to get pictures clicked. He tells her he went to buy train ticket. Shall we go? You don’t want to enjoy honeymoon anyways. She reasons that they are doing everything already. We roamed around together, ate food, clicked photos and did everything together! He says yes we have to do everything a like brother and sister. You only wanted to cut down on the expenses. Let’s go. She asks about their luggage but he tells her that he already called the hotel. It will be sent there directly. She makes him swear upon her. He tells her that he has indeed bought the ticket.
Precap: Naina and Sameer are in a toy train. He asks for a lip kiss but settles for a kiss on her hand. They share some quality moments together.
