Rakesh ends up holding the pillow as music stops. What do I have to do? Everyone is quiet. Pundit says this is what we are thinking. How to tie a bell around cat’s neck! Rakesh asks him what he said but he shakes his head. Rakesh is asked to dance. He dances on Sala Main to Sahab song. The music starts again. Sameer gets out. Naina asks him to say narrate new shayari. Sameer says it pains when some loved cries. Eyes well up when you part ways from your loved one. Everyone gets emotional. Sameer continues hear the sounds which pains just like broken pieces of glass do. I will miss you all very much. Rakesh asks Anand to resume playing music. They all dance and have fun together. Naina notices Sameer lost but Bela distracts her towards dance again. Swati tells Naina that she may go anywhere
Naina sits with Kamya. You always heard my speech. We never had a heart to heart conversation. We used to be enemies in the beginning. We dint like each other in the beginning but it ended up in strong friendship right before college. You faked a broken leg so I could go to Delhi. Kamya nods. That ways you could meet Sameer. Naina says you have supported me at every step of life. May God give such friends to everyone! They share a hug. Kamya asks her if she will forget her after going to Bombay. Naina denies. Only the two of us are leaving. The house is right here. We will keep coming back to celebrate Diwali and Uttarayan with all of you every year. Kamya caresses her face and then walks out of there teary eyed.
Munna calls at the landline. I wont come, Pundit. I wont be able to see them leave. Pundit says even I cannot but they will be equally pained. You will see them for the last time this time. Munna refuses. Pundit offers to tell everyone the truth. You are not busy in any function. Munna tells him to do anything he wants and ends the call. He cries.
Anand tells Sameer that Bombay, especially film industry is a different world. I accepted for your sake but you will have to give me something before going there. One, you will never drink or smoke after going to Bombay. Sameer promises him. Anand says the next condition. You will support Naina in household work and will give her tea whenever she gets sad. Sameer promises him. Anand’s next condition is that he wont look at any other woman. Sameer readily promises him. There cannot be 2 hearts in one body. Naina and I are like that! Naina knocks at the door. Anand asks her to promise him that she will always be Sameer’s strength. You wont let him break or fail ever! Naina promises him. I will do anything that I have to do for him! Anand says Nirmala ji has arranged the house for you. You will have to respect her too. If she gets upset with you then I will also be upset with you. They assure him it wont happen.

We were promising everyone in filmy style that day!
Sameer goes downstairs as doorbell rings. It is Deepak and his wife. Sameer asks him why he came here today. Deepak says my wife wanted to do puja in the house. It is very auspicious. Naina and Anand come there. Anand sends her upstairs to Bela. Sameer tells Deepak and his wife to do whatever he wants quickly.
Bela and Anand sit with Naina. She tells Naina that they will miss her very much. We were glad that atleast one of you was in Ahmedabad but now you are leaving you. Naina promises her that she will call her every day. Bela hugs her.
Sameer asks Deepak to do the puja quickly but Deepak tells him that it will take some more time.
Naina runs downstairs as the gas is on. She asks Sameer about Deepak and his wife. Sameer says he is friend. He tries to stop her but she asks them why they are praying outside their house. Sameer shares that this house is theirs from today onwards. She looks at him. He explains that he has sold this house. Naina goes inside without a word.
Naina is crying in her room. Sameer asks her to open the door. She hugs him the moment he gets inside. You dint tell me after taking such a big decision and told everyone else right? He says I thought to tell you at the right time. She asks him why he sold the house.
Voiceover – Sameer:
Finally the truth was told to Naina. Naina and I became silent for some time that day but silence cannot be there for too long in our life!
Munna and Pundit say this is why I wasn’t coming. Sameer hugs them.
Voiceover – Sameer:
We were as sad as we were excited.
Sameer says I thought you forgot me. Munna denies. I can stop breathing but not you. He asks Naina why she is crying. Don’t think we will be left behind. You are only changing cities, not friends. Pundit and I will keep visiting you often. Pundit nods. I will marry someone from Bombay. Munna jokes that no girl from Ahmedabad is saying yes to him and he talks about Bombay. He turns to Sameer. We will miss seeing matches without you. They share an emotional group hug.
Next morning, Sameer and Naina look at their home emotionally. Deepak and his wife come there. Sameer tells Naina that they are also starting fresh like they will do in Bombay. We shouldn’t do that with a sad heart. Naina wishes them good luck as she holds out the key but Sameer points out that this is the key of their Bombay flat. Deepak thanks them and wishes them good luck. They leave. Anand and Bela ask them to hurry up.
Voiceover – Sameer:
The thought of Rakesh Sir accompanying us used made my excitement go away!
Sameer gives the keys to Munna and Pundit to give to Rakesh. Anand tells Naina and Sameer to be there for each other in all odds. They say yes in unison.
