Sameer calls doctor. My daughter got hurt. Come asap. Naina ends the call. He is concerned about Suman but Naina says I want my daughter to be strong. She should play in dirt and do whatever she wants. Sameer refuses. It is dangerous for the kids. She reasons that dirt is everywhere. He looks around frantically but Naina takes Suman out for a stroll.
Naina tells Bela about what Sameer and Rakesh are doing. They will spoil Suman. Bela advises her to let Suman play on the floor. She will not spare you if you will always hold her in your arms. Naina says Sameer and Rakesh do more drama than Suman. Bela rues that she isn’t with her. Wish your mother was there. Naina says you have been more than a mother to me. You always show me the right path. Am I wrong? Maybe this is how we raise
Sameer gives coconut water to Preeti and Naina. Preeti says we don’t get to meet each other because of the kids. Naina says we are in the same society so we can meet sometime but we cannot meet the rest of our friends. Sameer says Chachi ji met the kids but Chacha ji hasn’t even seen any of them. Preeti shares that Anand has been travelling the entire year. He has finally come back and isn’t willing to come at this moment. They decide to go to Ahmedabad if all their loved ones cannot come here. Naina speaks of their home but then goes quiet. It isn’t our home anymore. We can stay at Chacha ji’s place. Sameer says I will speak to the owner. We will stay at our home for a while. Preeti says the kids will now go to their grandparents’ house.
Voiceover – Sameer:
There must be a time where new friends would have been jealous of old friends. Mumbai and Ahmedabad were those 2 friends for us. We got everything in Mumbai. We made many new memories but it was time to tell Ahmedabad and the people back there how important they were for us too. Life was incomplete without them after all.
Sameer and Naina are in Ahmedabad. Sameer has blindfolded Naina and is holding Suman in his arms. He removes her blindfold and she is surprised to see their house. Why are we here? Sameer points at the name plate – Naina and Sameer Maheshwari. We have bought this house. Now we can celebrate every festival here. Past memories flash in their minds. Naina gets emotional. They hold hands as they enter inside their home. Sameer stops Naina from entering and brings a garland. He lifts her in his arms so she can put it at the door. Cute song plays as all 3 of them enter inside their home. All the memories flash before their eyes. Naina tells Suman stories about their first home. Sameer shares that the furniture and stuff might have changed but I will make it back to how it was. There is still something special which I have brought with me. He shows her the two awards that they had won together. He keeps the photo of his Nanu and Anand and Bela next to the awards. Naina smiles.
The past memories come tumbling as Naina and Sameer take a walk around the house. Title track plays. Naina is standing near the pool while Sameer is up in the balcony. They make the same expressions at each other they had made before. They run towards each other and then chase each other romantically around the house.
Doorbell rings. Naina is surprised to see Anand, Bela and Rakesh. She hugs them. Bela wishes Preeti was also here. Naina nods. Anand holds Suman. She is just like my Naina. Bela says I think she is Sameer’s copy. They say she will become Nanu’s favourite in the end. Anand tells Naina and Sameer that he is proud that they got what they had aimed for. Naina and Sameer give him credit for always showing faith in them. Anand says I said that Naina will soar high one day and it has turned true. You both are ruling the sky. I am really proud of both of you. Naina replies that none of this would have happened without you. Rakesh says you are only after me in Mumbai and now you forgot me as soon as you saw Chacha ji. He takes Suman. You will be my champ. Naina says it isn’t like this. We have everyone in our home. She points at the desk. They all get emotional. Rakesh says it is better that Naina was raised by you both or I don’t know what would have happened. Anand says you have also done a lot for Naina. You even wrote that poem for Naina. Rakesh smiles. It was Sameer who made me do it. Anand and Bela says Naina’s mother would have been equally proud if she was here today. Bela rues that our entire family is so happy today yet something is missing (hinting at Tau ji and Tai ji). Anand says their photo should have been here as well. Sameer tells him it isn’t needed. Anand tells Rakesh that irrespective of their differences, they are still our elders. We have always tried to patch up. Tau ji says you did try. Everyone looks towards the door.
