Sameer touches Bela and Tai ji’s feet. Preeti gestures him to touch hers too. He bends down but then acts to hit her playfully. They smile. Sameer touches everyone else’s feet and asks them to take a seat. Munna and Pundit tease Rakesh ji calling them Sasur ji. Rakesh stares at them. Sameer sends his friends to ask servant to bring juice. Naina points at her feet. He asks her if she wants him to touch her feet too. She points at her sandal. Good choice, right? Sameer replies that his choice is always good. They both smile.
Naina’s family does not take anything. Mami ji asks Sameer why he has kept their DIL here. She sends Sameer and Naina with their friends. Bela is about to say something when Mami ji walks away. Naina’s family notice it. Tau ji makes a sarcastic comment
Tai ji is tempted by the food. She picks a snack but Rakesh coughs telling her against it. None of them pick anything.
A guest compliments Bobby on his arrangement and introduces him to Agarwal family. The guy asks Rakesh about his business. Bobby remarks that people who are willing to take a little risk do business. His job is without any risk. He is a school librarian. Rakesh recalls saying it at Maheshwari House. Bobby adds that Rakesh has tutored his girl very smartly. She has an eye like Mahabharata’s Arjuna. She hits bull’s eyes always. He is the one who has slapped Sameer the most in life! Rakesh asks him about his style of introduction with the guests. Bobby tells him not to get upset. I am just repeating what Sameer had said. He asks Tau ji if he is wrong. Don’t get upset. He is great guy though. He takes his guest away on the pretext of introducing him to Commissioner.
Tau ji pats at his brother’s shoulder but Rakesh says I have to bear this insult today only because of Anand. Anand looks upset too.
Sameer introduces Naina to his guests. He holds her hand while walking. She is afraid but he does not let go. Things should now go way forward than this. We are engaged. They share an eye lock. Vishakha asks them if they can start the ritual in case they are done staring at each other. They nod and go with her.
Sameer winks at Naina just before they sit down on the sofa. Mama ji does not let Naina’s family go there. You have given gifts to Sameer already. It is our turn now. Stay here. Rakesh is about to sit but Mama ji does not let him. You will come with us as you are the father of the bride. Tau ji nods at Rakesh who goes with Mama ji.
Naina asks her family members to come in front but Anand nods back at her to let it be. Vishakha gifts a new set, saree to Naina. Mami ji announces everything loudly. Sameer and Naina feel bad. Naina’s family is also worried. Tai ji wonders what they will gift in the marriage. Tau ji says they will insult us like this only. Mama ji asks Rakesh is they missed anything. The same guest is curious to know what Sameer got in shagun. Mami ji points at the gifts kept on a small table. Mama ji says they had told us beforehand that they wont be able to give us anything lavish yet they have given so much already. It is alright. Rakesh recalls saying it in the past.
Bobby tells Mama ji that they are taking care of their special guests very well. Mama ji is sure they will never forget it. It is just trailer. You still need to see the movie. Bobby smiles.
The same guest (Kapoor) congratulates Sameer. You should have worn suit today on the function atleast. Munna and Pundit point out that Sameer is a lover. A lover does everything opposite. He wore suit in the morning upon Bhabhi’s askance and wore kurta pajama now. They have a heart laugh. Sameer and Naina end up smiling as well.
Guests are discussing about the alliance. The girl caught a really big fish! Girls from poor houses are way smarter these days. They choose a rich guy so they can spend their life lavishly. Agarwal family can hear everything.
Sameer and Naina are walking. She is walking slowly because of her wound but does not tell him about it. Mami ji and Vishakha see it. Mami ji thinks she is not used to wearing such sandals. She is from a poor family after all!
Sameer offers to lift Naina in her arms. She asks him if he isn’t afraid. He denies. You are officially my wife now. He reaches out at her to lift her but she tells him against it. I understood you can do it! He smiles. You understand me a lot these days. She smiles calling him mad.
Preeti looks at Naina’s feet. It is swollen. Vishakha notices them and looks on. Naina is not able to even stand. Preeti asks her to remove the sandal. Naina replies that Sameer wants her to wear them. He will feel bad otherwise. Preeti offers to tell him everything but Naina gives her her swear. I don’t want him to tell me to remove it. Preeti asks her about her pain. Naina replies that she can bear any pain to make him happy. Vishakha is a little touched hearing it. Preeti pats at Naina’s head.
Mama ji invites Naina to come on stage and say something about her MIL. Sameer said such nice things about your family in the morning. It is your turn now. Munna tells Naina to go ahead. Sameer tells Naina to just say I love you from stage. Both your MIL and her son will be happy. Naina looks at Vishakha for a second and then at her swollen feet.
Voiceover – Naina:
That day I got scared when Mama ji invited me on stage to praise Sameer’s mother but I decided to do in a different style (dancing). My filmy gyan came to my help. Kamya helped me by playing the song.
Naina dances on a song which is dedicated to MIL. She goes to Bela and then bows down in front of Vishakha. Vishakha makes her stand again. Naina also hugs Poonam and then dances with Vishakha. Sameer notices her limping. Naina does not show her pain to Sameer. Vishakha makes her sit next to Sameer again. Everyone claps for her.
Voiceover – Sameer:
Naina danced so well that day. I was on cloud nine but who knew that that was just the trailer of the day. Lots of drama was pending.
Precap: Agarwal’s and Maheshwari’s look at each other pointedly. Rakesh charges at Mama ji but both the families hold both of them back.
