On one hand where the world of internet has virtually connected us all from all round the world but it has given us some intrusions in our personal lives too. Nowadays we cannot imagine a single day without using our phones and social media, Isn’t it? But just like everything, the Internet too has its shades of grey.
There are some people out there who use this internet to troll people and some to literally rip off money from people through cyber crime. And these days hacking a social media account on today’s date is not a difficult task. The latest victim who fell prey to online hacking is none other than popular TV actress Kaveri Priyam, better known as Kuhu from Yeh Rishte Hai Pyaar Ke. Recently the actress noticed some weird activities on her Instagram handle and turns out her account has been hacked.
Speaking about the same in detail with a leading entertainment portal, Kaveri said “I noticed unusual activities happening late at night on my Instagram account. I observed that my bio on the handle has changed, I immediately fixed it and changed my password and did a few setting changes as well post which I logged out and tried logging in with my new password but to my dismay, I just couldn’t login after that”
She further spoke about what action is being taken against her account being hacked, she said “My fans are reporting about it with several sources. I have also complained on Instagram helpline and cyber-crime”.
On being asked if she has received any message from the hacker Kaveri replied, “Thankfully, I have not received any such messages till now.”
