Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 27th August 2025 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com

The Episode starts with Abhira getting accused. The inspector straightaway points a finger at her, blaming her for Anshuman’s death. Abhira, holding back her tears, defends herself. She says she had no reason to kill him, in fact, she would have given her life to protect him. But the inspector twists the knife further—if she cared so much, why didn’t she marry him? That one stings. Abhira breaks down and confesses that it wasn’t her choice—Anshuman himself had refused to marry her. She pleads for release, desperate to go back to Myra, who must be waiting for her. Her anxiety builds with every passing minute, while the inspector continues to pressure her into a confession.

On the other side of the story, little Myra is getting restless. She innocently asks Armaan where

her mother is. Armaan, in his usual damage-control mode, spins a lie—he says Abhira has gone for a seminar. He even suggests Myra stay with him until Abhira returns. But children aren’t easy to fool, and Myra knows it. She questions why her mother didn’t meet her before leaving. Armaan fumbles, saying Abhira was in a hurry. Myra’s sharp little mind immediately senses the lie, and she’s determined to uncover the truth.

Meanwhile, family drama continues in the Poddar house. Vidya makes it clear that she will never accept Geetanjali as Armaan’s wife. According to her, Geetanjali must have manipulated him into marriage. Geetanjali, never one to back down, boldly asserts her position as Armaan’s wife. The heated exchange threatens to turn into a war, until Kaveri intervenes. She tells Vidya to stop fighting and think about the bigger problems at hand—Abhira and Myra’s situation. For once, Kaveri is the voice of reason.

Back in Myra’s world, she talks to her teddy bear, confiding that Armaan is definitely lying. With her childlike determination, she decides to get to the bottom of the mystery. Elsewhere, Krish and Tanya have their own scheming going on. Krish makes sure Abhira doesn’t get a lawyer, while Tanya thanks him for supporting her quest for justice for Anshuman. Abhir enters as the only ray of support for Abhira. He warns Krish that he will arrange a lawyer for her soon. Krish, smug as ever, mocks him—pointing out that Abhir isn’t as popular or influential as before.

Inside the jail cell, Abhira is at her breaking point. She begs the inspector to open the lock and let her see her daughter. But the inspector is merciless, reminding her that she’ll need a lawyer to even step out. Abhira reminds him sharply—she is a lawyer herself. She asks for the form, clinging to her last thread of hope. The memories of Anshuman come crashing down on her, and she finally breaks. Just then, a twist of fate—Armaan arrives, but not just as family. He steps in as her lawyer. His presence turns the tables, and he ensures Abhira gets bail. He then insists on a private conversation with her, determined to know the truth.

Elsewhere, the emotional subplot unfolds with Kiara and Tanya. Tanya weeps, saying she feels like an orphan now that Anshuman is gone. Kiara comforts her, assuring that they will always be her family. But Tanya’s heart isn’t ready to heal—she makes the impossible request, asking Kiara to bring Anshuman back. Kiara, shaken and restless, decides to meet Saaransh.

The emotional high point comes when Armaan questions Abhira. He asks why Anshuman had suddenly cancelled their wedding. Abhira, with tears flowing, reveals the shocking truth—Anshuman had sacrificed his love for her, just to reunite her with Armaan. Armaan is left stunned, guilt and shock mixing on his face. For once, the reality hits him hard. He assures Abhira that he’ll fight for her and secure her bail.
