The Episode starts with Abhira baking a cake with care, hiding it away and reminding herself that she can’t afford even the smallest slip-up. The next morning, Vidya searches for the pressure cooker’s whistle. Abhira quickly tucks the cake out of sight. Vidya notices something new—Abhira has started using under-eye cream. When questioned, Abhira casually mentions she got it on a discount. But Vidya doesn’t hold back—she taunts that no cream can help when someone’s chosen to drown themselves in sorrow and darkness.
Just then, Kaveri lashes out at Vidya for touching her water bucket. The situation quickly escalates, and the two women get into a bitter spat over water. Trying to diffuse things, Abhira steps in and decides to fetch water for Kaveri. The two set off together,
Back at home, Vidya is immersed in prayer. Her heart aches for Armaan. She decides to keep a fast for him, pleading to God for some news—any news. Her voice breaks as she says that if Armaan can’t come back to her, she just wants him to be happy, wherever he may be.
When Kaveri and Abhira return, they find the door locked. Inside, Vidya scrambles to hide Armaan’s photograph. But the secret slips out—Kaveri and Abhira find out that Vidya is fasting for Armaan. Abhira is left stunned as she comes face-to-face with his picture.
Kaveri snaps and warns everyone to stop talking about Armaan. But Vidya can’t stay silent—he’s her son. Kaveri reminds her that Armaan walked away from his family and wife, vanishing without a trace for seven long years. No letters. No calls. Nothing.
Defending Abhira, Kaveri says at least she’s trying to move forward, unlike Vidya who refuses to let go. But Vidya strikes back—Abhira is still clinging to the past too. She reveals that Abhira baked a cake and even bought a gift for Pookie. She accuses her of pretending to move on while secretly celebrating Pookie’s birthday. Vidya adds that Abhira barely sleeps at night and uses the cream just to cover it up.
Kaveri sighs, saying both Vidya and Abhira are stuck in their yesterdays. Vidya retorts that Kaveri isn’t any different—she just hides her pain better.
Later, Abhira sits quietly, lost in thoughts of Pookie, wondering when fate will bring them back together. Pookie and her grandfather set up in the park, umbrellas in tow, ready to sell.
