Everyone at the house hears her scream.
Swarna who was crying looking at the photos stops by, and rushes to the room. It’s locked. She Knocks the door very fast. Calls out her name. She doesn’t respond. But this situation was pretty usual that days at Goenka Villa, since the accident.
Manish enters home. Swarna shouts at him to come up.
*Swarna*: Manish ! Again Naira…..
*Manish*: My goodness, be there, I am coming.
And he runs to the room door. With his efforts, he breaks the door for the good third time.
They rush in. Surekha and Akhilesh follow them.
*Manish*: Naira beta. Wake up.
*Swarna*: Surekha, what are you looking at ? Bring some water.
Manish takes Naira on his lap.
*Manish*: Naira, you’re like an another daughter for me after Kirti. I have always treated you as me being a good father and father in law to make sure you don’t frown upon missing your Papa. On hearing Manish’s words, Swarna cries.
*Swarna*: Manish, Naira is missing Kartik so much. She’s pregnant and worrying thinking about Kartik each and every second. She faints mostly due to stress. I am really worried about Naira.
Manish looks up at Swarna and then looks Naira.
In his mind,
*Manish*: “He’ll surely wake up”
Swarna splatters some amount of water on Naira to make her conscious. She moans.
*Naira*: No…no… Kartik
Manish has a crying face hearing this. He stands up goes to the study room.
Naira gets up. Swarna brushes her hair. Naira doesn’t respond. She doesn’t eat. She doesn’t drink water.
She suddenly stands up. She goes downstairs. Goes to Puja Room.
Blows off the diyas, throws away Arti plates and flowers.
She stares at the pictures Angrily.
*Naira*: I guess I have been waiting too long to do this. I am a fool. Yes, I am a complete fool to believe in you. You made Kartik lifeless in coma. You let me get into depression. Papa ji ? He’s now not at all like before. Aunty ji, she cries each and everyday thinking about her son. And finally Dadi, she hasn’t uttered a single word since the incident. Why did you do this ? Why you harm my family always ? You’re fake. If you were real, you would’ve not made my Kartik……..
And she faints. Swarna holds her up before she falls. She asks Surekha to get her upstairs.
In her mind
*Swarna*: “Hope you understand now”
And walks with Naira to her room.
