After names like Poonam Pandey, Nisha Rawal, and Munawar Faruqui, now wrestler Babita Phogat has been confirmed as the contestant in the upcoming reality show Lock Upp. Ekta Kapoor recently shared the news poster of Lock Upp where Babita can be seen behind the bars.
Ekta captioned the post as, “Kya wrestling champion yahaan se bhi lengi winning walk-out ya ho jaayengi knockout?”
For the unversed, Lock Upp will be Babita’s second reality show. Babita entered the field of entertainment with the dance reality show – Nach Baliye in 2019 with her then fiancée Vivek Suhag.
The couple tied the knot in November and welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on January 11, 2021.
Amidst all this, there have been comparisons of the similarities between Lock Upp and Bigg Boss. Ekta during an interview with ETimes talked about it and shared, “There is going to be constant comparison. People will say stuff. But captive reality and original captive reality will also have their differences. Aap dekhiye kitna alag hoga.”
