I am writing this bacause there is too much sadness and depression going on in the show right now. But then this week all the misunderstandings are gonna be cleared. Soon everything will be fine, till then keep supporting and loving Yrkkh. Do read and tell me how it was. Please do comment.
Its been a long time me and naira have been dating each other. It almost feels like a lifetime. Yeah, there were a couple of misunderstandings between us but we have outgrown as a strong couple.
Since the last few weeks naira has been droping hints for me to take our relationship to the next level. I had got her hints at the first instance but I didn’t let her know as I had to prepare a perfect proposal for her and also find a ring, so I needed sometime. I behaved as if I didn’t get her hints and well it resulted in her getting annoyed with me
But today I need to propose her. I had choosen today cause it was our 5th year aniversary. How could I find a better day ?!!.
Yeah!! I am so happy. She had some meeting at her dance academy in the afternoon and so we had decided to meet in the evening. She had asked me what was I upto sensing the excitment in my voice but I had diverted the subject.
My whole day had passed away checking the arrangements and also in deciding what to wear.After wearing a black tuxedo and checking my pockets to make sure I had the ring. I took the keys and headed towards my car. Fingers crossed.
I reached the singhania sadan and found sir sitting on the sofa and reading the newspaper. Now my nervousness knew no bound. I had to tell him that I was gonna ask his daughter to marry me. He obviously knew that it had to happen sometime or the other but still putting the issue forward was giving me ghoosepumps !!
Naitik sir seemed to feel my presence as I was standing awkwardly at the doorstep. He smiled at me but then looked at my tux which was totally out of place and raised his eyebrow.
Naitik : Arey karthik why are you standing at the doorstep ?!! come on in.
I went in and sat opposite him.
Naitik : Nice tux. You and naira are going somewhere ?!!
Karthik : Yes sir, She hasn’t told you ?!!
Naitik : Nope. Infact today she was so tired after coming from her dance academy that she is still sleeping.
Ohhh nooo……
Karthik : Actually sir. I had planned to propose her today. It was due from a long time and naira had been giving me hints that she wanted to move forward. So I had palnned to take her out and then ask her.
Naitik sir just smiled at me warmly.
Naitik : Finally. She had been so annoyed with you this week that you couldn’t understand her hints. She just couldn’t stop complaning about you !! Anyways you wait here. I will wake her up and tell her that you are here.
Naitik left for naira’s room,a s soon as naitik entered he saw that his princess was sleeping covered in comforters.
Naitik : Princess wake up, karthik is her to pick you up.
Rubbing her cute little eyes naira woke up and then reality hit her. She was supposed to go out with mendak today.
Naira : He’s alreadt here ?!!
Naitik : Yes. he’s downstairs waiting for you and I guess tonight might just be the night. Seems like he got your hints and is going to ask you tonight
Naira : Really papa ?!! Anyways what is he wearing ?!!
Naitik : He is wearing a black tuxedo. Have you decided what are you going to wear ?!!
Naira : A saree !! But I don’t know how to wear one. I wish mamma……
Naitik : No worries. I promised akshara that I would take care of you. Even if she is not with us today I will try my best that you won’t get to complaint to her about me.
Saying this naitik opened nairas laptop and searched on youtube how to wear a saree ?!! Naira drapped the saree according to the video while naitik was holding safety pins for her. After she was completely ready they hugged each other.
Naira : How do I look ?!!
Naitik : U look just like ur Mom. Bless u my child. You have grown up so quickly.
He kissed nairas forehead and took her downstairs. Karthiks mouth hung open when he saw naira desending the stairs wearing a saree. He had always loved her in indian wear.Naira came close to him and he quickly shut his mouth.
Naitik : You can go now but don’t be too late.
Naitik saw them leaving the house hand in hand and missed his akshara. She would have been soo happy. He missed her but then he knew that she also loved him and missed him no matter where she was.
Karthik : U look smoking hot in this saree.
Naira : Well you don’t look bad yourself !!
Karthik opened the door for naira. When she was comfortably seated he went to his seat and started the car.
Karthik took naira to a beach where he had arranged a candle light dinner for them.Karthik pulled the chair for her.
Naira was awestruck by the scenario. It was just so beautiful. The silent ocean. The waves that came and went. The peace. The dark sky and the twinkling star that she believed to be her mumma. She always thought that her mumma followed her in the form of the star everywhere to make sure she was safe and happy. She missed her mamma.
As naira was lost in her thoughts karthik went on his knees and said, “You are the best thing that has happened to me. The day I saw u first was the best day of my life. Ur attitude of not being interested in me made me to have interest in you.The way u handle me or the way u make my life beautiful makes me go all weak for you. I have fallen for u from the very first day I saw u naira. u are the best that I have with me to treasure for lifelong. So I karthik ask you to spend your entire life with me ?!! Will you marry me naira ?!! ”
He removed the ring from his pocket which was in a crown shape( same like the one in serial) and forwarded his hand.
Naira was all in tears. She couldn’t control herself anymore and bend down to hug the love of her life and spoke in his ears.
“I love you karthik and I would make sure that we spend the rest of our lives together. You just took so long to say this ”
Karthik : Sorry baba.
Naira forwarded her hand and karthik slipped the ring in her ring finger. They hugged each other tightly making promises of always being together no matter what……..
