Scene – 41:
Hospital, 10:30 AM,
Anika along with Shivaay and Ansh in his arms were waiting for the doctors to come out and give them some positive notes. Haider was busy in a call. Without any delay the doctors stepped out of the ICU. Haider immediately disconnected the call and rushed to them.
Dr. Scindhiya: Relax mam… Your daughter is too strong… She is responding in a better rate than my expectation… So congrats to you…
Anika: (Let out the long held breath. Joining her hands.) Thank you… (Fresh tears made its way out.)
Dr. Scindhiya: (Cupping her face with his right hand.) There is no difference between her and you to me… So it’s my duty to safeguard you and your happiness… And I’ll do it fighting with the person above, if he plans against us…
Anika: You love her too much…
Dr. Scindhiya: She is my heartbeat… And none is capable enough to separate the heart beat from the body and soul…
A smile adored both their faces.
Shivaay: (Thinking.) What the wuck…? Who the hell is he and why the hell is he trying to be too friendly with my Anika… Doctor, I’ll be your end if you try snatching my Anika from me…
Haider: (Thinking.) I’m cent percent sure they are talking about Meera… Who is he and what is he to her…? Urgh… Dammit… I can’t afford losing her once again… Already I lost her once because of my stupidity, not now again…
All turned towards the voice,
Voice: Won’t you talk to me Yu…?
Dr. Scindhiya: (Giving a deaf ear to her.) (To Anika.) Excuse me… Will meet after two hours…
Anika: (Looked at the person in front of them whose eyes were filled with hope, pain, love and many more emotions.)
Dr. Scindhiya: Excuse me… (And tries to walk off.)
He was stopped by a strong hold on his wrist.
Voice: Stop ignoring me Yu… It really hurts…
Dr. Scindhiya: (Turned back and held her by shoulders tightly.) Really Ms. Kapoor… Me…? Ignoring…? Is it you or me who is been ignoring all these years…? Six years, six long years dammit…
(It was Meera.)
Meera: Yu… You are hurting me… (Tears flowing down.)
Dr. Scindhiya: Even I’m hurt… We are hurt… Literally… Just because of you… (Losing his hold on her. He slowly stepped back without turning his back to her. At once he reached the dead end, without giving her a final look he turned and walked off.)
Meera: (Burst out crying.)
Anika: (Went running to her and embraced her. She tried comforting her and finally succeed.)
None talked a word. Time passed.
Scene – 42:
06:00 PM,
Hospital Entrance,
Arjun, Neil, Radhika, Sammy, Krishna and Anjali reached the hospital and stepped out of their vehicles.
Before they could enter into the hospital,
Voice: Samaira…
All except Sammy turned towards the voice.
Sammy: (Didn’t turn around to see the person, as she was pretty sure about the owner of the voice. She started trembling.)
The person walked towards her and stood in front of her with just a foot gap.
Sammy: (Still didn’t react. She had her head hung low.)
Voice: Not bad… You still not changed… I can see the same nervousness and fear for me in your eyes and body…
Sammy: (Dared not to speak a word.)
Voice: (Got hold of her wrist tight.) Enough… Bahut ho chukka tumhaare manmarzi… You’ll come with me right now…
Sammy: (Struggling to get out of the person’s hold.) No… No… Please let go of me… I don’t want to come…
Voice: Chup… Ek aur shabd nahin… Chal…
Sammy: Please no…
Krishna: (Got hold of the person’s hand, which was holding Sammy.)
Person: (Looked towards him.) (Smirked.) Don’t come in my path… You’ll regret bad…
Krishna: (Mockingly chuckled.) You had already crossed our way… And you’re yet to regret… Let go of her before I make you to…
Person: Are you by any means trying to threaten me…?
Krishna: I just don’t threaten… I do what I say… Let go of her…
Person: Oh ho… (To Sammy.) You had turned so shameless lady… Wait… (Pause.) Or is it that you was already shameless and was acting in front of me… Anyways, you had been with many men… (Said looking around the guys behind her.) So what is now stopping you…? Come… (And tried to drag her.)
All their blood boiled on hearing his words. While Sammy closed her eyes shut tight, not able to take in the words.
Person: Zyaada naatak mat kar… Chal… (And tried to pull her again.)
But he was stopped by another hand. He turned to see a pair of fire spitting eyes of Arjun.
Arjun: Usaka haath chhod… (With cold and stern voice.)
Person: (Trembled in pain as Arjun’s hold on his hand was getting tighter. He shouted in pain.)
Arjun: (After a moment he lost his cool seeing the man’s hold on her still, he tightened his grip beyond anyone’s tolerance.)
Person: (Let go of her hand as the pain was unbearable.)
Arjun: (But still his hold wasn’t loosened. He was showing his all anger in his hold.)
Radzie: (Stepped forward and embraced Sammy tightly.)
Sammy: (She was trembling in fear.)
Neil: (His eyes were reflecting her pain, but was feeling numb to do anything. Even his breath was uneven.)
Arjun: I don’t want to see you anywhere around her… If at all I see you that will turn to be your last day… (And gave one last pressure on his hold and let go of his hand, and pushed him hard.)
Person: (Screamed in pain and fell on the ground.)
Sammy: (Fell unconscious out of fear.)
Radzie: Sammy… Sammy…
Neil: (Ran to them and took Sammy in his arms. Tapping her cheeks.) Sammy… Sammy…
Krishna: Let’s take her in…
Neil: (Carried her in his arms and took her inside the hospital.)
Arjun: (Was numb seeing her unconscious and stood motionless.)
Radzie: (Was about to follow them, but stopped sensing Arjun not moving. She went to him and called him twice, but he didn’t react. Finally, she shook him and he came back to sense.)
Arjun: (Without saying a word, he ran behind them.)
Radzie: (Wiped off her tears, composed herself and walked in the same direction.)
Neil: Doctor… (He called for the doctor and in no time a doctor came running and checked unconscious Sammy.)
Doctor: Oh no… Her pulse is dropping down… (He instructed the nurse to get the room and medicines ready.)
Sammy was rushed into the ICU. All were scared and shocked to see her lifeless.
Haider was going towards the canteen with Ansh in his arms. Listening to the familiar voice, he turned to find Arjun, Neil, Radhika and Krishna with Anjali in his embrace. All their faces were clearly reflecting fear.
Haider: (Walked to them.) Arjun… What are you guys doing here…?
Radzie: (Gained her sense and went running to him and cried out hugging him tight.)
Haider: (Was startled to see his little buddy in tears. After comforting her, he broke the hug gently.) Radzie… Buddy what happened dear…? Why are you crying and what are you all doing here…?
Radzie: Sammy… (Pointing towards ICU.) She is inside… She fell unconscious… Doctors are saying her pulse is low and rushed in with her… Mujhe bahat dar lagata hai…
Haider: (Cooing her in his arms.) Shhh… She’ll be fine dear… She’ll be absolutely fine… Please calm down… (He turned towards the rest and found everyone in a trauma. Without wasting much time he informed the same to Shivaay and Om, and asked them to come soon.)
Shivaay: (On reading the message.) (Thinking.) I want to go and check on them… But I can’t let Anika know about it… She is already stressed and weak… It is better I give any excuse and go to the rest and have a check on Sammy… Yes… That’s better…
Shivaay: Anika…
Anika: Ji…
Shivaay: I have an important call… Will be back soon…
Anika: (Nodded her head affirmative.)
Shivaay: (Without giving her a glance he walked off.)
Anika: (Thinking.) Why was he tensed…? Is everything fine…?
Meera: (Tapped on her shoulder.) What are you thinking dear…?
Anika: Nothing… He seemed to be tensed… I just hope everything is fine…
Meera: (Side hugging her.) Don’t worry Ani… Everything will be fine… Must be he got any important work… Relax…
Anika: (Nodded affirmatively, but still not convinced completely.)

Om: (On reading the message.) Oh no… I have to reach the hospital soon…
Gauri: (Hearing him.) Hospital…? Is everything fine…? Anya, is fine right…? (Fear stuck her mind hearing hospital.)
Om: Gauri relax… Anya is fine…
Gauri: (Sighed relaxing.) Then why are you tensed…?
Om: (Was in a dilemma whether to tell her about Sammy’s condition or not.)
Gauri: (Shook him and once again asked.) What happened Omkara ji…? Why are you looking so tensed…?
Om: Wo… Gauri… Please don’t get hyper or tensed… It is about Sammy…
Gauri: Sammy di…? (With fear engulfing her.)
Om: Gauri… Gauri… Relax… Doctors are treating her… And she’ll be fine soon… Please relax…
Gauri: (Nodded her head yes.)
Om: Let’s go… We need to support them… Hmmm…?
Gauri: (Nodded affirmative.)
They started from the gallery and drove off to the hospital.
Back to hospital,
Doctors are treating Sammy.
