My Word is My Bond… Part – 1
The day begins with the sun light kissing all her children along with bird’s singing a pleasant hymn welcoming the new day. It was unusually a pleasant morning for few souls who had an unpleasant mornings since few years. This morning brought a pleasant smile on their faces. In five different places all the five men are stepping down their beds and entered the washroom to get ready for the day.
After few minutes, they were seen all ready to start their day. They were well dressed and looking hot and handsome.
Scene – 1:
In Mehra Mansion,
Arjun was seen standing in front of a large photo frame which almost covered a wall. The frame covered a beautiful couple with a wide smile and royal looks. He had a slight smile and with tears brimming his eyes.
Arjun: Hi Mom… Hi Dad… A very good morning…
He chuckled little and continued,
Arjun: It is indeed a very good morning… Finally we gained what we promised to… It’s time to leave, meet you both later… Love you…
He walked out of the mansion.
Scene – 2:
In Oberoi Mansion,
Shivaay was seen standing in front of an old lady who was motionless still alive, with all sort of equipment attached to her. His trance was broken by a hand on his shoulder. He turned to find Omkara beside him. He gave him a forced smile.
Om: Need not force yourself Shivaay, at least not in front of me…
Shiv remained silent.
Om: She is a strong lady and you just wait and watch she is going to be fine very soon…
Shiv: Waiting for that day…
Both the brothers shared a smile and hugged each other. After breaking the hug, they touched the lady’s feet and moved out.
Scene – 3:
In Malhotra Mansion,
Arjun entered the house and was shocked to the scene in front of him. All the things were scattered and Neil was lying on the couch with his head hung down. He sighed and walked forward. He patted him to wake him.
Neil: Oh stop it Radzie… I’m hell tired and stop killing my sleep…
He turned on to his tummy and slept peacefully hugging the pillow. Arjun banged his hand on his head. He was thinking how to wake up his sleepy head friend. Meantime Shivaay and Omkara entered the Malhotra mansion and found sleeping Neil and confused Arjun. They walked to the duo. Shivaay placed his hand on Arjun’s shoulder and smiled.
Shiv: It seems like another world war was managed successfully last night…
Arjun and Om chuckled. Arjun again tapped on Neil’s shoulder.
Neil: Radzie… Please dear… Let me sleep…
A voice: You sleepy head, open your eyes and see who is beside you… And for your information I have zero interest to wake you…
The trio turned to find a young lady in her mid-twenties, dressed in white and pink floral saree.
Shivaay and Om smiled looking at her and she reciprocated. Arjun turned his gaze to other side and stood unaffected.
Arjun again tried waking up the sleepy head, but failed.
Shiv: Radzie… Dear please wake up this sleepy head, we have to rush… We have a meeting in another one hour…
Om: And you’re the only capable person to wake up this sleepy head brother of yours… Please do the honours…
She smiled wide and walked to her brother, mouthed a sorry with a pout and THUDDD…
Neil was all awake.
Radzie: Now your friend is awake… Do what you want… I’m getting late… Bye…
She waved bye to all and walked out. Neil was about to sleep again, but Arjun threatened him to pour a bucket full of water. He looked at his friends with his drowsy eyes. But his sleep vanished into thin air, when he found his sister clinging on to Arjun, planting a kiss.
Rewind and play the scene:
He looked at his friends with his drowsy eyes. Meantime, Radzie came running, turned Arjun towards her, tip-toed with her hands around his neck and kissed him deep and long on his cheek. All mouths were hung open. Arjun was in utter shock.
Radzie: This is for avoiding me… Beware… I punish bad next time…
She turned towards Neil, mouthed a bye and rushed out. He walked to Arjun, wiped his cheek. Arjun gave him a questioned look.
Neil: Lipstick…
And showed the finger. Arjun walked out of the mansion being embarrassed. The trio blasted into laughter as he left. Shiv and Om pushed Neil to get ready.
Arjun who came out to relax himself, saw the lady who dared to kiss him. He walked towards her, pulled her towards him and locked her between him and the wall nearby. She was calm.
Radzie: What? Need one more?
Arjun: Dare you not play with me… You’re my friend’s little sister and I’m letting you go… Don’t you dare take advantage of my patience?
She was still calm and smiling. He was pissed out. He looked other side and cooled his nerves and turned towards her. His words were shut inside his mouth itself. Yes, as he turned, she kissed him on his lips. He was dumbstruck. He wanted to pull back. But failed to do. He neither pulled back nor reciprocated. His complete sanity was washed out. He started to kiss her back and his hands were about to embrace her completely, but she pulled back.
Radzie: Not so soon Mister… I kissed you as I love you… Let me first make you fall in love with me… And trust me no one is going to stop you…
He was all the time looking at her dumbstruck. She moved closer, pecked his lips gently, he responded by closing his eyes. She walked passing him.
He turned to find her leaving the gates. He stood there as a smile crept on his face. He touched his lips and remembered the kiss. He shook his head to remove those thoughts and walked into the mansion.
Neil was all ready to leave. The four stood facing each other and shared a smile. They walked out of the mansion and drove off to their destination.
Scene – 4:
The cars stopped in front of a huge building. The building carried the board in which it was written, “My Word… My Bond…”
(My Word… My Bond… — Is a well-known media company. Once it only delivered truth to the world and dealt with many social related programs. But now, it is all changed, it is behind TRPs and money. It even started delivering false and fake news.)
All the eyes were filled with a layer of tears. Their trance was broken by a car. They turned to find Haider walking towards them. He came and stood in front of them and waved an envelope in front of them. They smiled wide and stepped into the building.
As they moved forward, near the reception, a security stopped them. They smirked at him. A police officer came from behind and cleared the path for the five. As they entered the office, the whole office was filled with whisperings among themselves on the sudden entry of the five, accompanied by the police.
From nowhere a girl came running and stood in front of them. Her eyes were filled with tears and was breathing hard. Arjun extended his hands and she ran into his embrace. He cooed her in his arms and comforted her. She calmed down after few minutes.
Haider: So how is my little girl?
Girl: Good… (And smiled)
She hugged all the five and they cooed her in their embrace with complete love and care.
A voice: Anjali…
The girl turned towards the voice. (Yes, the girl who came running to the guys is none other than Anjali.)
Anjali: Di… Please come here… (And extended her hand towards her)
She gave her hand and Anjali dragged her forward.
Anjali: Ajju bhai, Nikki bhai, Shiv bhai, Omi bhai, bhaijaan… meet her, she is Sammy di… My friend, care taker, trainer, mentor and much more…
Sammy smiled at her. She was happy to see the content smile on Anjali’s face.
Man: At least when you introduce someone, say their full name Ms. Anjali…
She twisted her lips and turned to other side. He let out an inaudible chuckle on her antics.
Sammy: (elbowed him on his tummy) Hi guys… I’m Samaira… Asst. Editing Manager… And he is Krishna, our photographer and the best among all.
Krishna: Hello sir… Nice meeting you…
Arjun: You know us?
Krishna and Samaira looked at each other and shared a smile.
Krishna: Who will not know the Power of Five… And above all, the lady beside you, keeps talking about you guys. So guessed from your appearance and unity.
Sammy: Yup… It had been ages I’m listening about you people and finally I met you… It’s one of the great day…
Anjali: Di… It’s not just a great day… It’s… It’s…
Krishna: Let it be Ms. Anjali… You can’t do it…
Anjali was about to hit him. But Sammy stopped both being in centre. She looked at both warning them to stop and they stopped. Anjali settled herself in her embrace and she willingly took her in her embrace. Krishna smiled wide.
A voice: What is going on here?
Anjali shivered at the voice. The five sensed it. Sammy tightened her grip around her and comforted her. They had a smile on their face seeing her in secured arms. They turned towards the voice and the person was shocked to see the men in front of her.
Arjun: Welcome Ms. Nandhini Pandey… It had been a long time…
Neil: Arre Arjun… You’re welcoming her… It is time for her to bid farewell…
All the guys had a smirk on their face. All the staffs were shocked to see their Hitler boss dumbstruck and silent.
Shiv: Absolutely… It’s time for farewell Ms. Pandey…
Nadhini: Not so soon… Not until I’m her official guardian… You guys are helpless until I have her with me… (Pointing towards Anjali)
Haider: Exactly… Only until you have your hold on her… Which is no more…
Nandhini: What do you mean?
Om: We mean… (He let out a mild chuckle) We exactly mean the same what we said… You had lost it Ms. Pandey… A terrible loss…
She was looking at the men in front of her with ghost struck face.
Nandhini: Anjali come here…
She extended her hand. Sammy tightened her grip around her and threw draggers on her.
Nandhini: What the hell Samaira? Let go of her…
Sammy: Not this time MAM… (With sarcasm)
Krishna: (chuckled) Sorry Mam… She is at the right place… Safe and secure…
Nandhini stepped forward to pull Anjali towards her. But was stopped by the five men who were throwing draggers on her.
Nandhini: Don’t you guys forget until she is twenty five, you guys cannot do anything…
Haider: Well if you can change the documents as you want, why not The Power of Five?
Om: Well here we didn’t do any such thing… Instead got the original documents which you never had…
Nandhini was shocked.
Arjun: Your game is over Ms. Nandhini Pandey…
Shiv: And we made you lose literally…
Haider: You’re bankrupt…
Neil: There is the way out… (And pointed towards the exit)
Nandhini: Don’t forget I’m Nandhini Pandey… I’ll make sure you suffer…
Neil and Haider stepped forward and waved her bye, making her more irritated.
The guys turned towards Anjali. She was seeing them with fear filled eyes. Her eyes went from her one brother to other. Finally she raised her head and looked at Samaira. She smiled and nodded her head affirmative and Anjali ran to her brothers.
Sammy and Krishna had wide smile plastered on their face.
