Sayuri notices Kusum emotional and asks what is she thinking. Kusum asks her to promise that she will not discuss whatever she says with anyone. Sayuri promises. Kusum says she is very happy with Nakul and Rashmi’s marriage, but somewhere she feels sad. Sayuri asks regarding what. Kusum says she has lost her hope for marriage. Sayuri asks her not to lose hope. Kusum says she didn’t study well and grew up supporting her mother in household chores and hopes if she can study further and find a job. Sayuri says that is amazing and says there is no age for studies, she can be independent and even support her husband, being independent and doing things on own has a special feeling.
Saroj hears their conversation and asks Sayuri why is she brainwashing her daughter, she already told her that Chaudhry family women don’t go out for work, so she should stop manipulating her daughter. Sayuri says she was just boasting her morales and explaining the importance of changing over time. Saroj warns her to keep her modern thoughts to herself takes Kusum away.
Kanha gets worried about his business loss and thinks he should get a big order to cover the losses. Nakul walks to him and asks what is he checking. Kanha says get is just checking new cameras for his vlogging. Nakul says he knows he is worried about the business loss and asks if he can help him in business from hereon, maybe he will be a liability at first but then later will be an asset to him. Kanha asks how did he become so mature, its bad to be too mature and a bit off maturity is fine. Nakul asks if he thinks what happened today was normal. Kanha praises him for handling Rashmi well and reconciling her developing differences with Sayuri. He further says their problem will be solved if he gets a big contract. Nakul say she will soon.
Kanha walks to his room and sees Sayuri busy studying on her laptop. He jokes with her. She asks him to stop pestering him. He continues. She says she is checking a course for Kusum as Kusum wants to study further. Kusum says that is a good idea. Sayuri says Kusum wants to be independent and is worried about her wedding. Kanha asks her not to worry about Kusum and come out with him. She says she needs to take care of Nakul and Rashmi’s engagement arrangements. He says she is not a coook or decorator and let others do arrangements. Their nok jhok continues. He says he wants to teach her bike riding. She excitedly asks if he rememebs her wish. He says he remembers everything and takes her to his bike. She shows his bike tyre is flat. He feels disappointed. She says they can enjoy the ride with imagination instead. They both sit on a bike and enact as driving. A romantic song plays in the background.
Nakul is sound asleep when Rashmi calls him and reminds that today is their engagement. He says he does. She says she wants this day to be a memorial event in their lives. Nakul says even he wants same and prays god not to let any new trouble on them. Kanha and Sayuri pray god for Nakul and Rashmi’s happiness.
Precap: Sayuri and Kanha dance during Nakul and Rashmi’s engagement. Saroj ignores Sayuri and praises Rashmi’s beauty. Sayuri feels sad. Tej and Dhanraj realize Saroj’s intention and think whatever happening is wrong.
