Rashmi angrily burns Nakul’s gifted bag when she learns that Nakul took Sayuri’s help to select a bag. She vents out her frustration towards Sayuri and determines to destroy Sayuri’s happiness. Kanha shows his childhood clothes to Sayuri and says Saroj saved his and his siblings’ childhood clothes. Sayuri feels happy. She senses Kanha’s nervousness and asks if he is thinking about Dragon Dadi’s strict behavior. He says yes. She says she need not worry as she knows how to tackle Dragon Dadi. Kanha says she doesn’t know Dragon Dadi well as Dragon Dadi values sanskars over love and will not compromise on sanskars. He asks her not to compromise on her values and not tolerate Dragon Dadi’s atrocities.

Kusum looks ssad recalling how Saroj

emotionally blackmailed her and convinced her to marry Rishi. Dragon Dadi walks to her room and says she is happy with her alliance. She notices Kusum nervous and says its okay if she wants to talk to her fiance as all youngsters do same. Kusum refuses. Rishi calls her just then.

Next morning, Sayuri rushes towards door ready for college when Dragon Dadi passes by. Sayuri wearing pallu wishes her good morning. Dragon Dadi yells at her to wish her pranam in Hindi and asks where is she going. Sayuri says she needs to visit college as she needs to set exam papers. Dragon Dadi shouts at her to not step out of the house when she is pregnant and scolds Saroj for give her bahu too much leniance. Sayuri unwillingly gives up and returns to her room. Kanha asks why didn’t she go to college. Sayuri says she took leave today. Kanha asks is it because of Dragon Dadi. Sai agrees and says she took leave today but can’t daily.

Saroj prepares breakfast in kitchen. Dragon Dadi scolds her for letting Sayuri laze around and asks her to order Sayuri to prepare tea for everyone. Saroj informs Sayuri who happily agrees. Dragon Dadi chats with family and describes how chubby Kanha was during childhood and hence he was nicked Kanha. Sayuri brings tea for everyone and slips. Kanha notices that, runs and holds her on time stopping her from falling. He asks her not to draw pallu when she is not comfortable with it. Dragon Dadi says one shouldn’t mock rituals and reminds that Saroj draws pallu even now. Tej says they value customs and also don’t differentiate between daughter and DIL and hence would give their DIL a freedom to dress up the way she likes, they are more worried about Sayuri’s safety than the rituals. Dhanraj backs him. Saroj says they are right. Dragon Dadi gets angry.

Nakul to divert the topic shows Kanha that his blog got a million views. Dragon Dadi scolds Kanha for leaving his business and wasting time on vlogs, says he is married and would be having a family soon, so he should concentrate on his business and earn money instead. Sayuri supports Kanha and says everyone don’t get a talent of getting smile on people’s lives. Dragon Dadi yells at Sayuri and says she can’t understand a family whose DIL is working and sons doing jokergiri and lazing around, she just wants to finish Kusum’s wedding as soon as possible and leave from here. Kanha asks what is a hurry in this. Dragon Dadi says she fixed Kusum’s alliance when she met Gayatri’s aunt during pilgrimage and hence her presence during wedding is important.

Kanha asks Sayuri and Kusum to get ready for college. Sayuri says its already late. Kanha says better late than never. Dragon Dadi says Kusum’s alliance will be canceled if she attends college. Kanha says let the alliance cancel if its hindering Kusum’s studies.

Precap: Dragon Dadi tells Saroj that she has arranged a pooja for Kanha and Sayuri’s baby tomorrow. Kanha asks her to cancel it as he has a meeting tomorrow. Dragon Dadi scolds Saroj for being too leniant and says she will take charge now.
Kanha and Sayuri return home and look shocked.
