Saroj refuses to send Sayuri to college worried for her and her baby’s safety. Sayuri says she understands her concern and promises to take care of herself well. She says there are 2 other pregnant ladies with her and don’t have any problem working. Saroj gets adamant. Kanha says he knows whole college and will ask peons and staff to take care of Sayuri; there would be Nakul, Rashmi, and Kusum also who would check on Sayuri during their breaks. Saroj says she will not trust anyone else except herself, Kanha, and Nakul. Kanha says she can’t hold Sayuri for 9 months and agrees to drop and pick up Sayuri from college. Saroj hesitantly agrees and performs Sayuri’s nazar.
Rashmi’s friend informs how her sister is being troubled by her in-laws and forced to do all household chores as her sister’s jetani is pregnant and family doesn’t let her work. Rashmi imagines herself in that situation soon. Kusum returns home with Rishi, looking sad. Kanha questions Rishi about his New york venture and says he can help him via his friends. Rishi gets his father’s call and leaves. Saroj says she liked Rishi a lot and asks Kusum her opinion. Kusum walks in silently. Kanha notices Kusum coming and asks about her meeting and opinion regarding Rishi. Kusum says she just came and would talk to him after freshening up and heads to the room. She looks at her college book and writes her name on it.
Kanha is busy over phone talking about his business order when Sayuri returns home with Nakul. Sayuri thanks Nakul for dropping her home. Nakul asks her not to thank him as even he is becoming a chacha/uncle. Kanha informs Sayuri about Kusum’s weird behavior and nervousness after returning from a meeting with Rishi. They both walk to Kusum’s room. Kusum asks if they want to know about th meeting and Rishi. Sayuri says they didn’t ask that at all and came to inform her about her upcoming exams. She hands over book to Kusum and asks her to study well for her exams. Saroj drapes a bridal veil over Kusum’s book and asks her to start preparations for her wedding as Gayatri called and informed that Rishi liked Kusum.
Indu and Bhanu express her concern over Rashmi’s changed and immature behavior. Rashmi overhears them and misbehaves with them. They try to calm her down, but she walks away fuming. Saroj expresses her happines about Kusum’s alliance being fixed. Kusum stands shocked. Sayuri says they should let Kusum complete her studies and let her understand Rishi well. Saroj says its already too late and she wants to make sure Kusum is married as soon as possible, Gayatri informed that Rishi will take Kusum to USA after marriage. Kanha and Sayuri get suspicious, but fail to convince Saroj.
