Kanha notices dacoits barged into Nakul’s room and trashes them. A servant gives Kanha’s protective bead thread to Saroj and asks if it belongs to her. Saroj gets worried for Kanha and looks at Sayuri. Kanha asks dacoits if they think they will get a ransom money if they kidinap a groom and drags them out of room when one of them injects Kanha and Kanha falls down senselessly, but can watch and hear everything. They cover him with a bedhseet. Nakul passes by and seeing the bedsheet thinks why did a matress come here, he will check later. Sayuri thinks once Kanha returns, she will tie him protective thread.

Sayuri passes by trunk searching for Kanha. Dacoits steal jewelry. Saroj goes to check no Sayuri and noticing smoke pot scolds servant to keep it outside the house. She lifts trunk door but leaves when servant disturbs her. Sayuri walks to her room and seeing cupboard open realizes burglars attacked.
