Sidharth Shukla, Surekha Sikri and Pratyusha Banerjee, the three prominent actors from the popular tv show Balika Vadhu are no more. With the sudden demise of Sidharth Shukla, who essayed the role of Shiv in the show, fans call it the end of Balika Vadhu era.
Celebs and netizens poured their heart out as they remember the three prominent stars of the show – Sidharth Shukla, Surekha Sikri and Pratyusha Banerjee.
While Sidharth Shukla passed away after suffering a heart attack on the 2nd September, Surekha Sikri breathed her last on July 16 owing to health issues. Pratyusha Banerjee, who essayed the female lead role of Anandi in Balika Vadhu, died by suicide in April 2016.
Balika Vadhu fans took to social media and shared several pictures of Sidharth and Pratyusha as Anandi and Shiv. One the users wrote, “Never was your Fan but you were a part of my life from childhood..From Balika Vadhu to till now, Always known for your strong personality, Never thought I’d see this Day. you will always remain in our hearts Champ OM SHANTI. #SidharthShuklaTheShiningStar”
Another wrote, “All THREE of them are gone #BalikaVadhu.” One of the users wrote, “Seriously we Lost all the main characters of balika vadhu Anandi, Dadi Sa and now our Shivraj Shekar(Sid) #SiddharthShukla.”
