Dream Girl – Ek Ladki Deewani Si on Life Ok shifted the main track from Lakshmi Mathur to Ayesha Sareen, the proclaimed Dream Girl. Still the show was doing great with many twists and turns. The show premiered on 9 March 2015, and is under Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions. It stars Shraddha Arya as female lead, and Sudeep Sahir as male lead currently. While Moshin Khan and Nikita Dutta were the leads in the same show before, Kunal Verma and Khalid Siddiqui play important supporting cast. The show is going off air on 25 February 2016.
The show was focused on Lakshmi, who dreamed to become a successful superstar and earn a big name in the film industry. She followed her idol Ayesha Sareen with all positive spirit, only to know what lies behind the reel life. Ayesha’s tortures and tricks on Lakshmi continued for long time. Ayesha snatched Lakshmi’s love, career and even dreams. Lakshmi left from Mumbai after her husband Samar dies. Ayesha’s twin sister Aarti and Raghu’s track entertained viewers for a good time. Only then a new lead Megha Gupta entered the show to take the track ahead, while Shraddha Arya donning two roles was given the space to just play the substantial character of Ayesha Sareen. Megha Gupta joined as Aarti/Shikha. She is paired about Raghu, played by Sudeep Sahir. While Sudeep and Shraddha’s chemistry rocked in the show, reminding much about their previous show Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, the show will see a closure this February limiting the show to a year run.
