Advay: age 34, height 6.3 ft
Chandni: age 24, height 5.1 ft

“Advay” he was busy in gulping down his whiskey while checking out some important documents required for the paperwork of his new deal with Khanna Industries when he heard her calling to him, he turned to look at the source of voice, in her pearl white saree she was no less than an ethereal beauty and her angelic face was the most beautiful sight he had ever seen, he could sworn that to himself.

When he looked at her she saw or she thought that she had seen an array of emotions in his eyes just for a split of second and then he again adorned his face with blank expressions “what is it Chandni?” he asked her in a strict voice which made her flinch in fear and for whatever reason she came here to talk to him it slipped her mind. “So-sorry, I forgot why I came here, I’ll leave you alone” she told him and turned to leave when she heard his angry voice “stop right there, don’t move even a muscle or it won’t end in good for you” she froze in her tracks afraid to move, fearing what he will do next, afraid to look at him. He was the devil in details for her, there was something dark and dangerous about him that Chandni couldn’t put her fingers on and the dark aura he carried with him always caused a shiver running down her spine, at the same time where she feared him, his proximity also made her feel safe from the cruel world existing outside the four walls of this house.

She broke into sweat when she heard the chair moved and his footsteps getting closer to her, she didn’t dare to look over her shoulders. Suddenly he came in front of her but her head was bent down, he then held her chin between his thumb and index finger only to lift her face to him, narrowing his gaze he tried to search her face while her eyes were still lowered “Chandni look up” he ordered her but she didn’t want to look at him she was trembling slightly and Advay could feel it as well. He let out a sigh, softening his tone he again addressed her “Chandni look at me” this time she dared to look into his light brown orbs which were a darker shade now God knows for what reason there was intensity in his eyes, the moment she looked into his eyes he could see tears glistening in her eyes. He felt like he got his heart stabbed with million daggers after all he couldn’t see tears in her eyes, but he wasn’t going to give in so easily. “What’s this new drama of yours? Do you think that seeing you with teary eyes or your self-imposed misery will make me change my decision? Tsk tsk tsk…

How naïve do you think I am Chandni that I’ll fall for such antics of yours?”once again the devil was back in business… the devil that was Advay Singh Raizada. Chandni flinched at his harsh tone “Advay, why… why are you doing this to me? What I have done to you?” she choked on her tears and a sob escaped her mouth, she was feeling miserable and helpless.

“You know very well Chandni why I’m doing this… I had informed you of my decision yet you went against it, now it’s your punishment to live away from everyone who loves you” he told her “but you didn’t separate me from yourself” Chandni retorted in a small voice. “May be I had loved you once but now I just don’t, I have only one reason to keep you with me and you know it very well” he told her in a grave voice. “Advay you are blaming me as if this all is my fault, you are equally responsible for this I didn’t do it alone” she tried to reason with him. “Chandni” he closed his eyes to control his rage over her for he couldn’t give her stress in such condition after all she was his wife and he couldn’t bear to lose her “don’t test my patience, you know I won’t give-in to your demands” he told her with a stern face. “Advay please just once try to understand, please just once… I want to go back to Mumbai… back to our home please…

they will be waiting for us… it’s been 7 months that I’ve seen them or talked to them” she pleaded to him.

“Do you think that I’ll let you talk to my family and poison their minds against me?” he asked her dangerously. “I told you I never wanted children, I never wanted to take that responsibility and yet here you are more than 8 months pregnant with my child bounding me with this responsibility forever and you also managed to get my family against me, Baba and Maa had never been angry with me in my whole life but that was the first time they didn’t want to see me, all because of you” he told her hatefully. “But Advay I” he shot her an angry look which made her quite “not another word Chandni” he threatened her and before he could say anything further Chandni cried out in pain holding tight on his arms to stop herself from falling. “Chandni enough with your drama, don’t waste my time and go to your room and sleep” he told her dryly “Advay I can’t… my baby” this time Advay got worried for he could see that she was in real pain “Chandni what is it? Are you okay?” he asked her holding her in his arms “Advay my baby… save my baby please… let me die but please save my baby” she told him between her tears and painful moans.

Advay felt like someone had stabbed hard at his heart; this was the moment when he realized that he had been a heartless bastard to make Chandni give up the most primal pleasure of motherhood that every woman deserves and for what just out of his fear of bearing the responsibility of a child. This was also a moment of realization for him that he wouldn’t be able to live if something happened to Chandni or their unborn child. He hurriedly lifted her into his strong arms, placing her carefully in the passenger seat he tied her seat-belt and took the driving seat and within 15 minutes he was in Artemis Hospital of Delhi, Chandni was taken to Operation Theater as Dr. Geeta Baruah Nath a famous gynecologist and friends with his mother told him that Chandni was in critical condition and needed immediate C-section. “Advay do you have any idea if Chandni was under any kind of depression?

As per my expertise I believe that she must have been under too much stress that caused complications in the later period of her pregnancy” he just kept on looking at the doctor with horrified expression on his face.”Doctor please, just save them; whatever the price is I’ll pay it just save both of them” he pleaded to her. “Actually it would be three of them, don’t you know that your wife is pregnant with twins” she told him with a smile. “Just be patient and hope for the best… your wife is a fighter I believe they all will be fine” with that she went into the OT to carry out the C-section. He remembered painfully that whenever Chandni tried to convince him to go with her to the gynecologist or tried to talk to him about the child he always rejected her harshly, she had been practically all alone during her pregnancy, right now he wanted to scratch out his own eyes for causing tears in Chandni’s eyes, right now he felt immense loathing for himself.

After a lifetime wait of 3 hours Advay saw Dr. Geeta coming out of the OT with victorious smile on her face “Congratulations all three of them are safe and sound and you have two beautiful babies a girl and a boy” she patted him at his shoulder. “Can I see them?” he asked her hopefully “sure, but I have sedated your wife she will be awake within an hour” she gave her consent. After an hour Chandni felt her numbed mind waking-up to an emptiness, she looked down at her baby-bump only to find out that it was gone, her throat constricted with pain and tears started to well-up in her eyes and with sob she gave way to her unshed tears “my babies, where are my babies” he hurriedly got closer to her, taking her hand in his he placed a soft kiss at its back “Chandni our babies are fine, they both are fine” he assured her wiping away her tears. “Do you want to see them?” he asked her and she nodded a yes, he lifted both of them in either side of his crooked arms, he felt a wave of happiness surging in his heart on holding these little two bundles of joy and his heart was filled with pride, at this moment he knew that being a father was one of the most beautiful experience in this world and he also kicked himself for trying to deprive Chandni and himself from this pleasure.

He went near her bed and placed their son in Chandni’s arms “here this is our son and this is our little princess” he told Chandni with pride while caressing his daughter’s cheek softly with his thumb placing a soft kiss on her head. Chandni looked at her babies with mixed emotions of love, joy and pride; she kissed her son’s small hands one by one and held him close to her, then she extended her other arm to take her daughter, he placed the baby-girl in her arm carefully and Chandni held her closer too closing her eyes, basking in the blessing of this moment now her world was complete, she was a mother who was determined to love her children with her whole being. When she opened her eyes she saw Advay with head bent down and tears were falling from his eyes “Advay, will you take me home?” this was enough to tell him that despite of all his atrocities his Chandni had forgiven him, she had given him a second chance.

He quickly moved closer to her and embraced her with their babies nestled against her, he placed a soft kiss on her forehead “Chandni please forgive me, I had been a ruthless bastard to you… I had put you through so much… I’m so sorry; I promise that I’ll make it up to you… I’ll take you home to Maa and Baba, please just forgive me” he pleaded to her. “And I’m also sorry for misunderstanding you, for believing that you provoked Maa and Baba by telling them about my decision of not having any children, I talked to Maa she told me that she had overheard us when you were reasoning with me to give it a chance… I’m so sorry I should have listened to you… I should have been there for you during your pregnancy but I left you alone and for that I hate myself” he confessed to her. “Advay look at me” she made him to look at her “I’ve never been angry with you, I’ve always loved you and knew that one day you will come back to me… I can never be angry with you and I can never stop loving you, so stop beating yourself up over the past, I just want to be with my whole family… Will you take me home?” she asked her hopefully and saw tears of joy and gratefulness in his eyes, he hugged her again “yes Chandni, I’ll take you home.”

Hope you guys liked it.
