Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, which make RK and Madhu household names, is going to end. Rishabh Kundra, the charming attitude immersing dude famously known as RK has created a huge wave on Colors Channel, when the show Madhubala EIEJ started May 28, 2012. Madhubala’s simple looks and then her makeover post her marriage to Rishabh, made them hit as a couple, and RK’s calling her as Biwi, made their love story more intense, as RK used to bring much impact with his just single word Biwi while staring in her eyes. RK and Madhu became popular as Rishbala and soon they got a hug fan following. The show has shown their many enemies and how their love has faced all trials and surpassed. The show went stagnant and the makers thought to give a leap to the show, and killed Rishbala, showing their daughter Madhu survive with Dida.
Abhay Kapoor’s character was introduced post the leap, as main lead opposite Madhu, but he got to be Harshvardhan’s son, who claimed that his dad died because of Rishabh Kundra and hated him. Abhay’s positive character turned evil and he started troubling Madhu, making her marry a mentally unfit guy Raja. Madhu kept her marriage with her faith in Kanha and soon Raja Kuswa, with same initials RK and having same face of Rishabh Kundra, got well and grown up mentally. The junior RK killed Abhay for punishing him of his crimes and then took Madhu to his village, where she was stunned seeing his cruel and heartless family.
The track went on for long time in the village backdrop, then shifted back too Mumbai, where RK and Madhu hated each other, then filed for divorce, then fell in true love. Then RK has diagnosed with heart disease, and the currently spotted by a famous film maker. Madhu gets her mum’s diary and comes to know about her last wish to have a film on her life’s journey. Madhu and RK get ready to act in a film and revive the old Rishbala. They become superstars and earn good to get RK cured. There is a happy ending after much troubles in their lives. The show is ending on 9th August 2014, with a run of over two years. Kudos to the team of MEIEJ for giving us such a wonderful and memorable show.
