My Wife – short story (Part 3)

Anika wakes up with in the evening and finds Shivay holding her hand and dozed off, she sees dried tears on shivay’s face, she remembers all the things she told to shivay
She feels guilty as Shivay was already tensed because of daksh and instead of supporting him, she feels disgusted of herself for saying those words about prinku,she thinks how Shivay promised to make everything clear after prinku’s wedding, she must have listen to him

Shivay wakes up and finds her lost”Anika
Anika looks at him,she caresses her stomach as if trying to find whether their baby was fine
Shivay -our baby is fine atleast for him don’t take stress, iam sorry saying this he leaves before she speaks
Shivay informs everyone to leave “I will sign discharge papers and bring Anika, u all leave
Everyone leave to oberoi mansion except om ru

Omru come inside and hug Anika -thank u bhabhi we r very happy for the gift u r giving us
Anika gets confused as Shivay didn’t wanted to say anyone till prinku’s wedding but just smiles at them
Shivay comes inside, he doesn’t look at Anika out of guilt while Anika thinks he is angry
Shivay -Anika let’s go and he helps to walk to the car
Anika feels a bit dizzy and holds Shivay tight
Shivay -Anika r u fine
Anika -iam feeling dizzy

Shivay lifts her while media outside clicks their photos
Media surrounds shivika and again start accusing Anika while Shivay gets very angry and asks omru to help Anika and gives her in om’s arms while om take her to the car while Shivay holds a media person collar and shout at him”HOW DARE U TO INSULT ANIKA, DON’T FORGET THAT SHE IS ANIKA SHIVAY SINGH OBEROI MY WIFE,I NEVER MARRIED TIA.
He calls tia to the hospital and she too confesses
Shivay “I expect now u people don’t disturb us and leaves from there
While omru already brought Anika home, she is unaware that Shivay announced her as his wife
Shivay comes home and sees her sleeping and kisses her forehead
In the evening it was prinku’s Sangeet
Shivay sees Anika getting ready

Shivay -if u don’t want to come, that’s ok
Anika looks at him-finally worry I will not come infront of the guests
Shivay tries to explain but she leaves
Anika comes out and checks the preparations
Few ladies see her, one of them is Mrs mehra

Mrs mehra calls her,Anika goes towards her
Mrs mehra smiles at her and compliments her and congratulates
Anika doesn’t understand
Mrs mehra introduces Anika to other ladies as Mrs oberoi
Anika gets shocked
Media too comes there,Anika gets scared and tries to go away from there but media surrounds her,she starts searching for Shivay
Media -we apologize u for our mistakes Mrs oberoi
Anika gets shocked and a small smile appears on her face, she looks at Shivay happily but fear grips her thinking about prinku
She looks at Shivay scared,Shivay as if understood her comes towards her and holds her

Shivay to media -I hope u give us privacy and I would also like to say we r expecting our first baby
Anika smiles at the word first wondering how many more He want
Eve congratulate the couple
Anika whispers -Shivay prinku
Shivay -don’t worry, prinku is safe with ranveer as ranveer arrested daksh
Anika smiles and hugs him -I LOVE YOU SHIVAY
Shivay kisses her forehead -I LOVE YOU TOO
Om ru hoot for the couple while Anika blushes
