Bigg Boss 13 star Arti Singh recently tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Dipak Chauhan, in a wedding that became the buzz of the town. The event saw attendance from numerous Bollywood celebrities and Bigg Boss 13 contestants, making it a grand affair. However, in a recent conversation, Arti revealed why she chose not to invite Asim Riaz to her wedding.
In a candid chat on Paras Chhabra’s podcast, Arti was asked if she still keeps in touch with her Bigg Boss 13 co-contestants. She responded, “I talk to everyone.”
Why Wasn’t Asim Riaz Invited to Arti Singh’s Wedding?
When Paras inquired about the guest list from Bigg Boss 13, Arti mentioned inviting Shehnaaz Gill, Mahira Sharma, Vishal Aditya Singh, and Shefali Jariwala. She noted, “I talk to these people at least once in two months.”
Upon being asked about Asim Riaz, Arti confessed, “I didn’t call Asim and Shefali Bagga.” Paras reminisced about Arti’s bond with Asim on the show.
Arti elaborated, “I never felt warmth from Asim. I wish him well. We used to meet at the gym, but it never felt like we did a show together. Maybe he is hurt because of something I did on the show.”
She continued, “It’s not that he’s wrong; maybe I am too. Despite meeting him frequently, I never felt warmth. That’s why I didn’t invite him. My wedding was my life’s biggest dream and happiest moment, and I wanted to invite only those who were genuinely happy for me.”
A Peek into Arti Singh’s Pre-Wedding Celebrations
Arti also shared how her friends reacted to her wedding announcement. She mentioned that Vishal Aditya Singh and others reached out when they saw the news in the newspaper, expressing their happiness for her. Although she doesn’t speak with Asim, she acknowledged that everyone in Bigg Boss 13 knew her desire to get married, yet some did not reach out.
Arti emphasized her wish for a wedding filled with genuine friends. She wanted attendees who were truly joyful about her marriage. The celebration saw friends like Ankita Lokhande, Aparna Dixit, and many others in attendance.
