Ekta Kapoor has recently launched 4 serials. One on colours, one on Sony and another two on Star Plus. Here is the description given oh these three TV shows.
Naagin 3:- It is one of the most popular of Ekta Kapoor’s shows. It is the third season of the previous two seasons of Naagin. It premiered on 2nd June in colours and airs every Saturday-Sunday at 8:00 pm in colours. The story revolves around Naagrani Ruhi (Karishma Tanna) and Naagraj Vikrant (Rajat Tokas) who are madly in love with each other, but their fate changes when successful business tycoon Andy Seghal’s spoiled sons Yuvi and Adi along their friends Rehan, Daksh, Karan, and RJ s*xually molested Ruhi which ultimately resulted in death of her lover Vikrant. The story then takes six months leap where Ruhi changes her shape and again come back as Naagrani Bela. The story then follows how Bela(Surbhi Jyoti) will take revenge of the death of her lover Vikrant and how she will fall in love with Mahir. The show progresses well especially the sweet chemistry between Bela (Surbhi Jyoti) and Mahir (Pearl V Puri) and is ruling the first position in the TRP chart.
Dil Hi Toh Hai:- Show started with good hype based on popular movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham theme. It casted one of the popular male faces, Karan Kundra, and female lead, Yogita Bihani, supported him well in her debut show. Their chemistry and strong cast were the strongest points for the show. However, it didn’t do well on TRP charts and then some controversy and show got pulled off within months. There is still chance that show might come back with another season with an open ending to season 1.
Qayamat Ki Raat: – It is a supernatural thriller show, which airs every Saturday and Sunday in star plus at 7:00pm. It premiered on 23rd June on star plus. The story revolves around Gauri (Karishma Tanna) and Raj (Vivek Dahiya) who tries to free their dear ones from the curse of Kaalasur, an evil tantric. The evil curse which the tantric already given before 25 years, as Suhasini did not consummate with Kaalasur. Later the tantric tries to do the same with Suhasini’s (Dipika Kakkar) daughter Gauri. Unlike Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 3, the show is not in such a position in TRP chart, but everyone likes the sweet chemistry between Gauri and Raj.
Kasauti Zindagi Kay (Reboot, Version): – It is also a popular show of Ekta Kapoor. It is the reboot version of the original kasauti 2001 series. The reboot version premiered on 25th September on star plus and airs every Monday-Friday at 8:00 pm. The story revolves around star-crossed soul mates Anurag (Parth Samthaan) and Prerna (Erica Fernandes)who know each other for many years. Though they feel some attraction towards each other but they do not understand it. The story will focus how they will fall in love against all barriers which is put between them. The show is liking by the audience very much especially the chemistry between Anurag and Prerna.
