She opens the door and gets shocked.
Anika: who is it Malika? Shivay also looks at her…
A tall boy enters…. He was well dressed up…. His muscles were adoring his personality to the fullest. He looks at anika and smiles. He comes to her and hugs her.
Shivay gets jealous. Anika didn’t respond to the hug….
Boy: I missed you so much anika!!….. It’s been so long time we didn’t meet.
Anika feels uncomfortable so she makes him away from her….
Anika: ya… Actually I was little busy.
Malika: veer!! ???
Shivay heard his name and was looking at him….
Shivay’s pov
How dare him to touch my anika? His anger was on peak.
Anika: I was going to tell you about veer only…. Mom had called me yesterday and told me that he is coming to meet me.
Veer: hey Hii Malika! How is everything going?
Malika: fine. How are you veer? ?
Veer: I m great.
Veer looks at shivay….
Veer: sorry I didn’t recognize him…. He is
Anika: shivay… He is shivay, veer.
Veer: shivay? Sorry I still didn’t recognize him….
Anika: actually you don’t know him…. ( she looks at shivay) he is shivay… My best friend…. She smiles.
Shivay looks at her and smiles back.
Shivay : Hii this is shivay Singh oberoi!
Veer: Hii shivay! So you are Anika’s friend…. Nice to meet you. ( he forwards his hand for a handshake)
Shivay looks at him and shook his hand.
Malika’s pov
Veer….oh God I was just lieing but you made my lie reality…. Now this idiot veer came back. I have still not found that whether shivay feels for anika or not? And now this problem…. Now this dumbo will definitely spoil my plan. I used to hate him Since our first meet….
Veer: Uff…. I wish now I could get a hot coffee…
Anika: wait I will get it for you.
Veer holds her hand and stops her. Anika feels awkward. Shivay looks at his hand…. His eyes were raising fire.
Shivay’s pov
Who the hell is he? Friend hai friend ki Tarah rahe…. Who gave him the right to hold her hand. I feel like beating him red and blue. He gets more and more jealous and angry on him. ?????
Veer: hey anika! Come on let’s go out for a coffee…. What’s say?
Anika: coffee…. Veer actually I am not feeling to go out.
Veer: nope I won’t listen anything…. You have to come with me.
Anika: veer please I have very much work…. We’ll go tomorrow.
Veer: I told you that you are coming with me. So that’s it. ( and he forces her to go with him)
Shivay’s pov
What kind of cheap person he is? If anika is denying then also he is forcing her. Idiot! ???
Anika looks at shivay and finds him looking at her. Shivay feels as if she wanted to say something to him and he understood.
Shivay comes to them and frees Anika’s hand from veer’s clutch.
Shivay : veer if she is saying she doesn’t want to go with you then leave it.
Anika looks at shivay…
Anika’s pov
Though we don’t have anything between us except friendship which happened just one day ago…. He ( shivay) understood that I didn’t wish to go with veer.
Shivay sometimes you make me feel that loving you was the best thing happened to me.
Veer: but shivay she said she doesn’t feel like going out…. She didn’t say that she doesn’t want to go with me. ( he speaks and smiles)
Shivay: I wasn’t saying that… It’s just u both can go tomorrow or whenever she will feel like.
Veer: Okkkk then and as it’s about anika I can’t force her. He looks at anika and smiles.
Shivay’s pov
Hey talk to me not to anika. She doesn’t talk to chipkoo people like you….. Do girls run behind this idiot?? ???
Veer: wow anika I must say you are looking so beautiful…. Wait you look beautiful everyday.
Shivay’s pov
Hahahah! Go try your best she won’t get impressed by your flattering words….. She is not like other girls! ???
Malika’s pov
Ohh so now shivay started taking anika’ s side… ?? that’s simply great and this veer…. I thought he will spoil my plan but he made my work easy now I will be definitely able to find out what’s going in shivay’s mind.
Yes! Yes! Yes! I m so happy. I think shivay has already started feeling jealous. She looks at shivay’s face which already had jealousy clearly visible.
Malika: hey guys leave it na and veer I promise as you have come to meet us. We will definitely go so don’t worry. Come sit we will be having coffee here only.
Anika: ya sure… Let me get the coffee. She goes.
Veer: hey shivay…. Malika come sit! We will have a talk. shivay was hell irritated with his presence.
Shivay: actually I have some work and he left. He went to the kitchen and starts helping anika.
Anika: shivay, it’s OK I will do it.
Shivay: nope let me help you.
Anika: ok…. And they both make coffee.
Anika: shivay….
Shivay: hmm… ( he was busy in preparing the coffee)
Anika: thanks….
Shivay: it’s alright anika…. By the way making coffee is very easy task. ( he speaks)
Anika: not for the coffee shivay… ( he looks at her) thanks for what you did outside…. Thanks alot. Actually veer is my friend and my mom likes him very much so I never said no to him for anything but today I really didn’t wish to go with him.
Shivay: don’t worry now I won’t let anything happen against your wish.
Anika: did you say something?
Shivay: and she again didn’t listen…. ??( he whispers to himself) no need of thanks anika.
Anika smiles.
Shivay’s pov
Uff… Where I was planning to tell her about my feelings and now making this coffee for that veer Ohh God neither I was able to find out about him nor I know what is between anika and that veer and you sent him here to spoil my lovestory which hasn’t even started. ( he looks at anika) by the way anika didn’t wish to go with him…. If there would have been something in Anika’s heart for him she would have gone with him….. But she didn’t. Why? Should I ask her?… I think I should.
Shivay: anika… I wanted to ask you something . Can I?
Anika: me? Ya sure… She looks at him.
Shivay: I was saying you and veer are good friends right then why did you deny him? I mean….
Anika: shivay my mom likes him a lot and yesterday she had called me….
Shivay: ya you told me outside that your mom told you that he is coming to meet you…
Anika: shivay he has not come just to meet me… Actually he wants to….
Shivay : what anika?
Anika: he wants to marry me…

Shivay: oouch!!…. ( and due to shock shivay lifted the hot coffee pan with bare hands).
Anika got worried… She took him to the washbasin and dipped his hand in water.
Anika: see I told you I will do it…. Now you burnt your hand shivay. She started blowing air on his hand.
Shivay: so will you marry him?? And instead of feeling the burnt pain… his whole mind was stuck on her words. Anika was looking at him.
Anika: shivay it’s not important…. Now see your hand.
Shivay : I m OK anika… You just tell me will you marry veer? He just wanted to hear a no from her.
Anika: shivay it’s not my decision.
Shivay: but it’s your life anika…. You can’t let anybody be a part of it…. He spoke with concern.
Anika didn’t know what to say….
Malika and veer comes.
Malika: what happen? Shivay… Are you alright.
Veer: Ohh fish he got his hands burnt… I think you should put a ice pack on it.
Shivay: it’s alright… I will do it on my own. He leaves.
Malika: what happened to him?
Anika: I don’t know… ( anika wasn’t able to understand what just happened to shivay)
Veer: it’s alright guys… Leave him. Anika sorry but I need to go I have an urgent work. He also leaves.
At night malika’s room
Anika was busy in some work. Malika was thinking about shivay.
Malika: anika today wasn’t shivay behaving strange?
Anika: hmm…. He even got his hands burnt. She worries for him.
Malika: but how?
Anika: he was helping me in kitchen then ( she told her everything).
Malika: what? Anika, veer has come to propose you. Is he mad?
Anika: shut up Malika…. You know na mom wants me to get settled and veer is a nice boy.
Malika: you shut up anika. You had rejected him when he proposed you few months ago.
Anika: that time I was in different state of mind….. I had shivay in my heart…..
Malika: what do you mean by you had? You still love him so you can’t marry anyone like that….
Anika: I told you na Malika that I have decide to move on and now I consider him as my best friend.
Malika: so now u don’t love him?
Anika : please Malika, let me move on… And Jo ho nahi Sakta main uske baare main nahi Sochna chahti.
Malika: Ohhh Acha even if shivay starts loving you then also u will say the same thing.
Anika was shocked….
Anika: don’t speak all this Malika…. I had told you not to think more about us but…
Malika: anika I m not making stories seriously…. He has something for you….
Anika: and how do you know all these things? Did he tell you anything?
Malika: nahi par….
Anika: Malika please let me do this for mom. I love her a lot and if she will be happy with this then I am ready to marry veer.
Shivay was passing nearby her room and she heard just anika saying that she will marry veer for her mom’s sake( sorry guys but shivay didn’t listen anything else…. Just the last words of anika). He was shocked and broken and went to his room.
In shivay’s room
Shivay was sitting near his bed on floor.
Shivay : she said she will marry him…. I wish I could met her before… I could have felt this before…. I could have confessed all this to her…. But the reality is I couldn’t. I lost her before even getting her. Now I can’t have these feelings…..it will be wrong.
He hears someone knocking the door. He wipes off his tears and becomes normal. He opens the door. Anika was there.
Anika: shivay….
Shivay: hmm…
Anika: this ointment. Please apply this on your hand otherwise it will pain more.
Shivay: it’s already paining anika…. He speaks with sadness.
Anika: Ohh I had told you to put ice pack but you left from there. Wait let me put this ointment on my own otherwise you will forget and it will pain the whole night. Anika makes him sit on the bed and takes his hand in hers. She was going to apply the medicine but her phone rings and the name flashes veer. Shivay read the name and looks at her.
Anika: don’t worry I will talk to him later.
Shivay : nahi anika… He may have some urgent work and now as you are going to get married so he is more important to you then anyone else. Anika never knew that the person whom she loves the most… Who should deserve the most importance from her….. He will ask her to give importance to someone else. She had tears in her eyes. Shivay takes back his hand.
Shivay: I will apply it on my own…..
Malika was looking at both of them.
Malika’s pov
What the hell they are doing? One has feelings but doesn’t want to confess and the other acts as he has feelings but doesn’t want to express…. Uff these two will definitely spoil everything. I thought that if shivay will have feelings then he will not allow anika to marry that veer but see he is making her away from himself. Even Anika didn’t believe me. Ek kaam karti hoon shivay ko bata deti hoon ki anika usse Kitna Pyaar karti hai…. But wait what if it’s all my misunderstanding and shivay doesn’t have anything for anika. No I can’t take this risk…. Kahi pata chala Aisa Kuch tha hi nahi and I was assuming on my own but I have to stop this marriage also.
Anika gets sad and leaves from there. She goes to her room and cries. Malika looks at her.
Malika: I won’t let you ruin your love story anika….
She runs to shivay’s room
Malika: shivay I want to talk to you.
Shivay: Haan bolo.
Malika: woh…. Woh…. You must be knowing that veer wants to….
Shivay: ya I know it and it’s good now anika will be happy.
Malika: hmm…. I think so.
Shivay: why think so?she will be definitely happy….
Malika: ya right but a person should also have reasons to be happy now how can a forced marriage give happiness to someone… ( she speaks indirectly)
Shivay: sorry but I didn’t understand….
Malika: that’s the problem even Anika doesn’t understand that she can’t be happy with someone whom she doesn’t love….. ( she turns and smiles)
Shivay gets shocked….
Shivay: what do you mean? She doesn’t love that veer but you were only talking on phone that day to veer that come back soon anika is missing you and all….
Malika: woh actually yes I was saying that actually now if a person talks to you so we can’t say na that nahi hum tumhe miss nahi Kar rahe the…. Shivay that was just for formality… Bhul Jao woh Sab. Now I m just worried for anika see I m her best friend and I can’t do anything for her…. She is ready for this marriage just because of her mother.
Shivay remembers listening anika saying that she is doing this for her mother’s Sake…
Shivay: but this is wrong…. I mean anika is such nice girl I can’t let her sacrifice her happiness and she deserves a life partner whom she can love and who can love her.
Malika was winking as her plan was getting successful.
She continued her acting…..
Malika: you know anika gets very uncomfortable with him… Didn’t you see how he was getting close to her and that’s why anika didn’t wish to go with him.
Shivay: that’s why anika was so tensed now also and she didn’t want to pick his call. But what if anika really wished to marry him and we r just assuming all this?
Malika’s pov
Oh gosh! Now what should I do to make him believe?…
Malika: ok so you don’t believe me right…. Come with me. She takes shivay to Anika’s room and ask him to look. Shivay looks inside and finds anika sitting and crying. He gets shocked….
Malika: see how she is crying? Even now do u think that she is happy with all this?……
