In these times of Coronavirus, our telly stars and Bollywood celebs have come together with a novel idea to raise funds in the fight against COVID-19. Celebrities including the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Virat Kohli, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, great musicians like Zakir Hussain, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, AR Rahman, singers like Sunidhi Chauhan, Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghosal, Sonu Nigam amongst others had several messages, dialogues and performances for the four hour long virtual concert which was held on Facebook.
However, now as per the reports of a leading entertainment portal, a source informed the portal that Actor-Comedian Sunil Grover’s name was also included in the initial list. He was asked by the ‘I for India’ concert team to prepare a gig for them.
It was also reported that Sunil prepared an act for the same but he didn’t receive a follow up call and when he called the team to check on the progress, they responded to him saying that the AV has already been made. The team also mentioned that they won’t be able to include his performance in this.
