Warmth in Cold – A SHIVIKA OS by YAZHU

Hiiiiiiii ISHQBAAZIANS…..This is YAZHU, after a long gap I’ve thought to write an OS again as a start for my future attempts…. This OS will be about the emotional and cozy romance between our most lovely couple SHIVIKA…. As we were witnessing the hard slog efforts by Anika to bring her tadibaaz Shivaay back in IB… I just thought that an OS will do much good for me at this time as I really miss the thoda nokjhok and thoda cozy romantic side of Shivika… This is an attempt after a long time so I have no idea whether it’ll turn up good or not…. So Sorry in advance if I didn’t reach your expectations guys…. Now I stop my bakbaks here and let’s get into the scene….

It’s been a couple of month after Anika came back to Oberoi Mansion. She’s trying every bit of ideas that came in her mind to bring back her Shivaay. But our so adamant Shivaay breaks her every attempt by keeping himself cool and stay passive at her actions, deep down he knows that his Anika is trying become his again seeking for a second chance but his deeply hurt heart didn’t allow him to think about a second chance. She irks him in every possible way but he stay inactive which hurts her a lot.

Shivaay was getting ready for a meeting and the file which he needed for that was stuck in his room which is now supposed to be Anika’s room. He knows if he go there Anika will definitely pull his legs over some silly issues but the file is important for him as he’s left with no other choice, Shivaay went to her room. To his surprise he didn’t see Anika and thought to left with the file before she comes. When he found the file and thought to leave, the very feeling of her presence stops him.

He moves the curtains to take a view at the pool, he saw her standing alongside the pool simply starring at it. Her face shows the pain and suffers which she faced in her life. It hurts him to see her like that but he left from there reminding himself not to pay any attention to her.

After three hours Shivaay came back to Oberoi Mansion, he went for an emergency meeting which goes well and he felt good about that. His steps stopped before his room, their room. He thought to check on her, after much inner battle he finally decides to go and see her. He didn’t find her on bed as it’s been so late and it’s almost midnight which worries him. He went to see the pool side, where he saw her still standing there just like he saw her few hours before.

Her eyes were bloodshot red which reveals that she’s crying, even though he keeps on telling that he had no feelings for her but the thought of her crying hurts him a lot, a lot than he expects. He tries to move away from there.
‘Shivaay….’ The name slips from Anika’s mouth, her eyes were closed and tears escapes from them.

Hearing her broken painful voice stops him when he yet to leave. Shivaay turns to see her who was collapsed down due the pain occurs in her legs. He hates it, just hates to see his lady love crying. He always wished for her happiness and hates the tears that came from her eyes. With much hesitation he went near her.

‘Anika…’ Shivaay called her but his voice doesn’t seem to be heard by her.

‘Anika…’ he called again slightly raising his tone, again no response came from her.

He went near and placed his hand at her shoulder. ‘Anika…’ he called again by shaking her, which brings her to reality and turns to find the man she’s been thinking about all these hours.
She wiped her tears and stood up by composing herself. Shivaay can’t help but to admire her beauty in that white salwar. He stares at her red eyes, she was crying even though she looks so cute to him. He felt her legs shaking as they’ve become weak after hours of standing. He tries hard to ignore that all but he couldn’t able to control his feelings for her. It was so hard for him to hide his feelings for her from the moment when he met her again.

‘You’re still awake…’ Shivaay asked

‘Yeah…is there any problem with that?’ Anika shots back

‘Never mind…’ he replies and turns to leave as his ego shot back again at her answer.

A sudden thunder strikes hard and lights went off due to the big thunder. It’s been raining outside and weather was so cold which was even felt inside the house. It startles Anika as she was afraid of darkness she steps back in fear without noticing the pool behind her. Shivaay realizing her fear for darkness turns back to see her. It was dark and the dim light from outside helps him to spot her. He went near her and holds her by her waist when she was about to fall in the pool.

Her fear was felt clearly by Shivaay, even though it’s dark the dim light makes her eyes to sparkle which shed a tear drop. Shivaay lost himself in her eyes, his grip on her waist tightens and makes her to come even closer towards him. She apologizes for leaving him not by words but her eye speaks it all. Shivaay should’ve realized it as his hand went to wipe her tears and caresses her face gently.

All that they could feel then was their breath, they both feel the warmth in each other’s closeness even though the weather was chill around them. They both lost their conscious mind and emotions took control of the situation. There was only a thin gap between them which allows the air to flow but soon it to became shut as Shivaay moves so close to her face thus his lips brushes the corner of hers. Anika’s heartbeat races at its peak as she felt like her heart will explode in his intense moves.

Shivaay’s hand too doesn’t rest but explores over her waist which brings shiver in her veins. It becomes even harder for Anika when his lips brushes over hers, it was not a mere kiss but a slight touch makes her totally lost her balance. She holds on to his shoulders to control her shivering as felt like her legs will lose balance and will make her to fell in to the pool. When he was about to intensify it more the lights came again which also brings back the flashes of their past thus made them to move apart from each other.

They just stares at each other, Shivaay reminisces the moment he was about to kiss her and left from there suddenly without even taking a glance at her. Anika became dumbstruck for some time as she couldn’t believe the incident just happened before a couple of minutes. Smile and tears came together, she felt like that she was the happiest person now as SSO became her Billu ji, her Shivaay at that moment even if it’s for just a minute she saw her Shivaay again after their separation. She doesn’t know what to do and just runs to her room and falls on her bed. Smile was all spread in her face, she hugs the pillow to hide her hardly blushing face from the rest of the non living things in her room. She dozed off to sleep in sometime thinking about the beautiful incident happened to her on that day.
In his room Shivaay was restless and was taunting himself for going out of control with her.

‘How could you behave like this Shivaay?’ he taunts himself by looking at the mirror.

He tried hard to think about something else but the only thing that comes in his mind is Anika. He walks restlessly around the room then finally goes to his bed. With much argument with himself he convinces himself to remain his cool and slowly dozed to sleep.

‘Anika…’ the name came from him in the sleep and his lips curves to a smile.
