On Tuesday, Ekta Kapoor took to her social media account and announced that Nia Sharma will be a part of the Naagin sequel and people were thrilled to know that she will be seen in the role of Naagrani this year. In season one and two had Mouni essayed the titular role while in the third season, we saw Surbhi Jyoti as Naagin.
Now for the fourth season, the content queen, Ekta tweeted, “Welcome to the world of Naagins “Nia Sharma” @Theniasharma #Naagin- Bhagya Kaa Zehreela Khel only on @ColorsTV Coming Soon #ShobhaKapoor @BTL_Balaji @tanusridgupta1 @ketansgupta @ChloeJFerns @MuktaDhond”
To her post, Nia replied, “And thank you a ‘million’ times for this opportunity @ektaravikapoor It’s an absolute honour and privilege.” However, during an interaction with Mumbai Mirror, Nia revealed that she is not to be seen as Naagin on the show but still feels the pressure of taking the franchise forward and living up to the expectations of people.
Surprising right? Well, if not Nia, then who is the naagrani? The suspense dies for a few days but now it seems that we are back to square one. Sharma had made her digital debut a couple of years back with Twisted and then went on to star in Jamai 2.0 which streamed on Zee5.
