Vishal Karwal reveals why he follows a ‘no-intimacy’ policy while signing a project

Actor Vishal Karwal who is known for essaying mythological characters is all set to play Lord Vishnu for the sixth time in Dharm Yoddha Garud. And while actors call it being typecasted, Vishal has a different approach to the same.

Talking about it with ETimes TV, Vishal said, “As a performer, I have always enjoyed playing Lord Krishna and Lord Vishnu. I am already playing Lord Vishnu in Swarna Swar Bharat and now will repeat the act in Garud. I have always played Lord Vishnu when I have played Lord Krishna in a show. So, in that sense, I am playing both for the sixth time in my career. It can very well be a record. I actually started enjoying acting when I played Lord Krishna for the first time in Dwarkadheesh – Bhagwaan Shri Krishn (2011). The process and the feeling of playing the part are unique in comparison to other characters.”

Vishal also talked about having a no-intimacy policy when it comes to taking up new projects. He said, “I have said no to so many web series that I have lost count now, as there were too many intimate scenes. I don’t take up those web series and I am very particular about it. I come from Palampur, a small town in Himachal Pradesh, and don’t want to do anything that would embarrass my parents back home.”

Apart from his character of Lord Vishnu, Vishal has also essayed the role of Lord Krishna in multiple projects.
