Vishal Aditya Singh makes a grand comeback to small screen with Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s upcoming show ‘Chand Jalne Laga’

Vishal Aditya Singh, known for his remarkable television presence, is poised to break his hiatus from the world of daily soaps. He is set to take on the lead role in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s latest offering, “Chand Jalne Laga,” a passionate love story. This marks his triumphant return to the realm of family dramas, a comeback that comes five years after his memorable stint in “Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala.”

According to a reliable source closely linked to the forthcoming show, “We required an actor who could effortlessly convey the depth of emotion and ardor demanded by this love story. Vishal appeared to be the perfect fit for the role. Currently, we are in the process of casting the female lead, and the show is expected to commence production shortly.”

Earlier in an interview, while expressing his desire to rejoin the realm of fictional television, Vishal stated, “Yes, I am eager to resume my acting career. I have already participated in numerous prominent reality shows on television, so now, I am inclined towards fiction shows (smiles). I am patiently waiting for captivating scripts and promising opportunities to come my way. I have never pre-planned the type of role I want to take on because, as actors, I believe we should embrace the roles that come our way. I am seeking a challenging character that requires dedicated effort and brings me joy.”

Vishal’s most recent appearance was in the mythological series “Parashuram,” which concluded last year. Beginning his acting journey on television with the historical epic “Chandragupta Maurya,” he ventured into the fiction genre with notable roles in “Sasural Simar Ka” and “Begusarai.” In 2017, he mesmerized viewers as Veerendra Pratap Singh in the fantasy series “Chandrakanta — Ek Mayavi Prem Gaatha.” Following his stint in “Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala,” Vishal explored the non-fiction realm with appearances on shows like “Nach Baliye 9,” “Bigg Boss 13,” and “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.”
