Actor Vijayendra Kumeria has been roped in to essay the male lead opposite Vidhi Pandya in Shashi and Sumeet Mittal’s next. Both Vidhi and Vijayendra became household names with their stint in Udaan. However, this time they will play a couple in the new show.
According to a source, the story of the show will revolve around an aspiring writer (Vidhi Pandya), and an ace TV producer portrayed by Vijayendra.
He adds, “It’s an interesting concept and different from usual family dramas. It’s a story of aspirations, conflicts, and love. Vijayendra and Vidhi are best suited to play the lead couple. The shooting is expected to commence in the first week of January.”
Vijayendra was last seen as the lead in Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha. The show went off-air in October after completing seven months. Earlier in an interview with BT, the actor talked about the wrapping up of the show, and shared, “It is sad when a project gets over. On TV, you seldom get to play challenging roles, and Aapki gave me that chance. I had to research and find out if there were any visually-impaired photographers in the world. Only after I figured the various techniques to click pictures when you are visually impaired, I decided to take up this role. It was challenging and something different from what I had done before.”
