The episode starts with ganesh saying finally rishi shilad got mahadev as his son in the form of nandi.
Nandi and rishi shilad step in their house. All tridevi and tridevi watch and are happy. Shilada welcomes nandi in his house. Mahadev watches. Lord Vishnu says mahadev is excited to meet nandi soon, he is eager.
Mahadev stands and watches from behind a tree, he sees shilada is feeding nandi. Mahadev says I will experience having a father through my form of nandi. Shilada is trying to feed nandi, but nandi doesn’t seem interested to eat anything. Shilada tries to show him all food to eat but nandi says nothing. Mahadev is puzzled why nandi is so quiet? Shilada asks nandi, okay tell me who am i? parvati and all are sad as they see nandi is quiet.
Shilada says nandi, you know your name right? Tell me what is your name? shilada is puzzled and he looks at shiv ling and prays to it, he says I am unable to understand why my son nandi doesn’t seem interested in anything, he has forgotten everything! Please tell me prabhu are you testing me again? Shilada sees nandi looking at the trees. Shilada says I am worried for my son.
Mahadev says how will nandi ever know who I am? Mahadev goes.
Parvati says where did mahadev go? Why didn’t he come back here? He always comes back to Kailash, he hasn’t come back here. Lord Vishnu understands and says mahadev was waiting to see his friend nandi but he couldn’t see nandi this way quiet, so he is sad now. Lord Vishnu says mahadev is in sorrow and he must be roaming around now somewhere. Parvati uses her powers and watches mahadev very sad and in sorrow, he is not able to meditate as well as mahadev roams around everywhere.
Parvati is sad, she says there are so many problems, mahadev is roaming around in sorrow almost like in exile and nandi doesn’t know anything and is quiet, how will swami meet his friend? When will everything be normal and happy?
Rishi shilada takes nandi everywhere and shows him the temples, city and the market. The people tease and make fun of rishi shilada and his son nandi, calling him mentally challenged and laughing on him as rishi shilada is called a liar who tells everyone nandi is mahadev’s avatar.
Shilada goes with nandi to shiv ling and says prabhu, how can you let everyone make fun of your avatar? People are doubting your avatar and making fun of my son, what do I do prabhu? Nandi watches everything in the temple and watches everyone. Nandi walks down as shilada prays to mahadev and cries. Shilada sees nandi gone and tries to find him and calls him. Shilada is sad and cries and asks everyone if they saw nandi. Shilada sits on the ground and cries.
Ravana tells ganesh, nandi has gone into a dangerous forest.
Parvati is worried for nandi as he did not even have food and is wandering since morning. Parvati says I have to bring food for nandi, parvati turns the green mangoes into ripe mangoes on the tree. Nandi sees the mangoes fall but he doesn’t take them, just smiles and keeps walking. Parvati doesn’t understand.
All gods and goddesses are worried. Saraswati says he is alone there. Parvati says how will nandi reach back home even if he meets someone? He doesn’t know anything.
Nandi is confronted by a lion in the forest. The lion pounces on nandi, parvati appears behind nandi and uses her powers and stops the lion and saves nandi. Nandi sees parvati, parvati smiles and says you are as prabhu imagined you to be, calm, simpled, innocent and smart but why are you so quiet? Tell me nandi, say something son. Nandi sees mahadev walking in the forest, sad in his grey form with beard and long hair, as in exile and sorrow. Nandi says shiv, shiv, shiv. Tridevi and tridevi come, parvati says your prabhu is not here nandi, I understand what you say but your prabhu is in a sorrow state in some other place roaming by himself. Nandi looks at all things and says shiv, shiv! Parvati understands and says yes, shiva is in everything! Nandi smiles and says shiv again and shiv ling appears everywhere in all things that nandi sees. Lord Vishnu says nandi’s mind is not underdeveloped but it is entirely focused on mahadev, prabhu shiva! In this state why would he ever be hungry? Parvati brings a laddoo and she gives it to nandi. Nandi eats laddoo happily and he gets a new consciousness.
Ganesh says so after eating from mata’s hands, nandi found his conscious self.
Nandi meets everyone and does pranam, to parvati and everyone else. Nandi says I am grateful for your darshan but why didn’t mahadev come? Where is my prabhu? I want to meet him and get his darshan. Everyone is sad. Parvati doesn’t tell nandi the truth otherwise he would be sad. Parvati tells nandi his father must be worried and mahadev would come soon.
Nandi goes to rishi shilada and meets him. Shilada is more than happy to see nandi and hugs him, he is happy that nandi can talk again. Nandi tells shilada that he can talk because mata met him and told him he would have to be capable like his father to meet mahadev. Shilada is happy and he says you met mata? Nandi happily says yes, even prabhu Vishnu, brahma dev, laxmi and saraswati. Nandi says father you will teach me right? Shilada says yes, it is my duty and now I am very happy as you can talk too.
Ravana says rishi shilada taught nandi all the gyan and knowledge of all shastras, sanskriti, vedas. Rishi shilada teaches the last lesson to nandi of his education.
Nandi learns all knowledge from his father rishi shilada as his guru. Finally the day comes when nandi shall be tested by the gods, thus lord Vishnu tells devraj indra to go with the gods, yamraj and bhumi devi to test nandi if he is worthy of being mahadev’s disciple and his vahan.
Precap: Indra dev and the gods test nandi as bhumi dev disguises as a deer. The gods try to move nandi aside using all their strength but fail.
