Star Plus’ historical drama Vidrohi which initially created a lot of buzz is now slated to go off-air. According to the reports, the show will be airing its last episode on the 5th of March. The show featured Sharad Malhotra, Sulagna Panigrahi, and Hemal Dev in the lead went on air on October 11th.
Vidrohi is set in 1817’s Odisha and is based on the rebels who were fighting for their rights against the British era. Apparently, the show failed to garner the desired numbers for the channel, and hence the channel has decided to pull the plug on it.
Star Plus’ upcoming show, Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar featuring Ankit Siwach and Swati Rajput will be replacing the show.
The promo of the aforesaid show is already out which shows a fair girl checking her fairness on a skin scale. Swati Rajput’s character overtakes the scene and says that people with dusky skin go through the same fear.
