FB Scene – 3 {@ Malhotra’s House}
Vidhani stands near the entrance of the house. Viplav helps dhaani in taking packets from the car. Dhaani rings the calling bell thrice, but there was no response.
Dhaani : Why this malhotra ji is not opening the door ?
Viplav : Dhaani, Shall I press the bell ?
Dhaani : Yes, why not ?
Viplav : Just watch viplav tripathi’s style now…..Just give me way…..[dhaani moves ahead…viplav wears his sun glasses and starts inhaling and exhaling breath for a while]
Dhaani : Viplav, what’s wrong with u ? Why are u doing exercise here ?
Viplav : Am preparing myself ……
Dhaani : For what ?
Viplav : To break this door……{viplav fold his hands,dhaani gets panic}
Dhaani : Viplav….no…..Have patience…..some one will open the door…..
Viplav : There is a limit for everything yaar……Hat Jaa…Am going 2 break this door…..
Dhaani : U are mad…viplav…{viplav moves forward, dhaani comes in front of him and stops him by holding his hand….}
Mean while Mrs. Malhotra opens the door and stare them….
Mrs. Malhotra : What’s going on here ??
Vidhaani {@ a time} : Nothing….maaji…Nothing…..{dhaani removes her hand from viplav’s hand}
Dhaani : I have brought the packets…
Mrs.Malhotra : Ok….Let me check it…..{she moves forward and open the packets….she takes one pack ….Wow…U made “Aamla Pickle”. This is something unique……U keep the bottles @ store room…..My husband has gone for a meeting……He will come later….{she handovers the store room’s key 2 dhaani and goes inside}
Dhaani : Come….
Viplav : Now…where we are going ?
Dhaani : Store Room…..
Viplav : I can’t walk any more…dhaani…..
Dhaani : Viplav…..That’s why I told u there itself ….it’s a long term process and we have started now only and u are feeling tired……
Viplav : Dhaani…..Really am feeling tired…
Dhaani : Am sorry, viplav…..
Viplav : Sorry!! For what ?
Dhaani : I really wish I could lift u in my arms….But u know am a girl and I can’t do that…..[dhaani pretends 2 be feeling bad]
Viplav : What!!!
Dhaani : I mean it, viplav…..sorry ….{dhaani laughs}
Viplav : Dhaani….U are….[before viplav could catch her, dhaani runs and viplav runs behind her, and @ a point viplav stops dhaani by holding her hand] I have caught u red handed…… dhaani….
Dhaani : Really, now u are not feeling tired, won’t u ?
Viplav : Oh Yeah!! I forgot that I was tired…..But u know what today ur 440 volt laughter boosted my energy…..
Dhaani : Is it ?
Viplav nods his head with a sweet smile…Dhaani also smiles….
Dhaani : U know what viplav……I think after meeting u I have started smiling again…..
Viplav releases dhaani’s hand from his hold…..Both of them stare each other for a while…..
Viplav : Why u think so ?
Dhaani : I don’t know….But the way u said one should smile like a filament, I mean from heart I was just…..{dhaani stares viplav with wet eyes}
Viplav : Dhaani…..I would like 2 see filament only, not flow of ganges….
Dhaani : Viplav u are amazing……{dhaani wipe out her tears and smiles}
Viplav: Shall we go ?
Dhaani : Where ?
Viplav : Store Room…..[vidha leaves]
For viplav it was a new experience. Travelling in chawls, streets and distributing various type of pickles, paapads really made viplav 2 think about dhaani’s hard work…..On the way back 2 both of them stops the vehicle near the temple….Dhaani goes there and places some money before the idol…..
Viplav : Dhaani, Kya Maanga Bhagwan Se ?
Dhaani : Nothing, just asked him 2 give me more courage that I will wipe out their tears…
Viplav : One thing I must say u are a very good human being….A bold girl who is ready 2 do anything for her fellow beings…..And I have never met a wonderful lady like u in my life…..
Dhaani : Thanks…viplav….Today u really helped me ……
Viplav : I wish I could help u daily, but am a lawyer, and what 2 do ?
Dhaani : U are a lawyer, Inspite of being a lawyer u delivered packets ??
Viplav : Haa…Why u looks so tensed, Did I commit any mistake?
Dhaani : Yes…….
