The celebrations are going on in full swing and everyone is dancing…Nihal goes to an angry Bakhtawar and offers a hand shake and asks him to forget everything that happened and says that it doesnt matter who came first as long as the pind wins …he offers a fresh start but Bakhtawar refuses to shake Nihal’s hand and says he will only do so when he will defeat him…
Kartar reluctantly dances for a bit with Gurpreet and walks out when chaiji follows him to a quiter place and warns him to stay away from Ratan…Kartar denies doign any such thing but chaiji says she has been observing him and what he’s upto is not good…Ratan looks for chaiji…Chaiji reminds Kartar of how he had accused Sampooran of breaking their friendship by having a relation with Kartar’s would be wife and compares it
Everyone asks Ratan to dance but she refuses…veera comes and pulls her to dance along…Nihal and kartar both admire Ratan with Bakhtawar watching her and the two men…Nihal notices Ratan’s trailing dupatta and wonders how to tell her about it…he tries to call Ranvi and veera but they are too busy dancing…he goes to pick the dupatta himself and while doing so Ratan trips and he catches her…They share an eye lock which hurts Bansuri deeply and Kartar fumes to see them toegther…Bakhtawar watches kartar get angry…Ratan gets embarrassed and lets go off Nihal’s arm and they move away…Bansuri tries her luck and invites Nihal to dance with her…Nihal hesistanatly watches Bansuri lure him and when Ranvi calls Nihal he moves away and Bansuri falls on the floor…and after he gets up Nihal comes to check if she is ok but she says she thought he’d save her, Nihal says he wasnt paying attention and Bansuri taunts saying his attentions was elsewhere and she vows to attract his attention towards her someday…Ratan is uneasy with Nihal around and moves out of the dance…
Later at night Ratan is washing the kids and Nihal steals glances while having lassi, he grows a white mooch and Veera does her mooch gesture and he wipes it off his face makign them smile…The kids have a short water fight with Ratan and Nihal admires them…Chaiji comes with Nihal’s bag and says she’s washed his clothes for him…Chaiji asks if he’s sorted a place to live and Nihal says Balwant has arranged for him to live at the panchayat’s kothari…Chaiji says he isnt going to live there and gives her house keys to say he will live at her house form now on…When Nihal says he doesnt want to trouble her with taking any more favours, chaiji jokes with him and says he has done a lot for the pind and their family…She says she lives at Ratan’s mostly and her house is vacant mostly…Nihal agress finally as chaiji insists…
Precap: Nihal notices that the red cloth is missing from his bag and wonders if he left it at Ratan’s and panics…Ranvi brings the same red bag to Ratan and says he found it…A sikh chain and pendant is hanging out of it(assuming its Sampooran’s) Ratan un ties the knot to check whats in it…
