The class teacher calls out names to hand out report cards and Gunjan passes her year…Ranvi is called and given a fail…the kids laugh at him and the teachers says he is sad that even though he was a bright student a few years ago he failed for the 4th time and now his name will be strucj of the school…Ranvi weeps and the teacher reinds everyone to take lesson from Ranvi’s case and never lose focus on their studies…After the teacher leaves the kids make fun of Ranvi and say that he will look after his pappaji’s agricultual school as a caretaker as he has failed again…
Nihal requests the principal to give Ranvi another chance but he refuses…Nihal insists and tells him how Ranvi doesnt have a father’s guidance and that his mother has to look after everything and couldnt pay much attention
At school Gunjan pacifies Ranvi and says she’ll get her dad to speak to the school to let him stay…Veera comes with her report card and says she’s done very well…Ranvi is happy for Veera but sad that he couldnt pass…Baldev comes and blames Ranvi for them failing along with him…He laughs at ranvi and says he will pass anyhow next year but Ranvi is out of school…He taunts Veera and says if she is still proud of her veerji…Veera turns around to give Baldev a strng reply and says her veerji will always be the best and that Baldev is the worst veerji ever…Baldev warns Gunjan not to mention anything about him failing at home or else he’d get her into trouble.Gunjan quietly nods…
Ratan is walking home with veggies when some pind guy stops her and asks if she is coming to Saprpanch ji’s house in the evening to watch the documentary that was made on their pind…ratan asks the time and says she will come…she then bumps into the prinicipal who asks if she knows about Ranvi…When Ratan says she isnt aware yet the principal tells her that Ranvi failed again and he was going to give him a sack but bent the rules since Nihal insisted…he says that Ranvi is a responsible good boy but needs guidance and he’s hoping for progress as he wont repeat any such thing next year…
at home Veera gets ranvi’s book and says she has covered it again and he can now study but Ranvi says its too late and that he cant face beeji when ratan comes and Ranvi holds his ears to apologize…Veera does the same but Ratan instead of being angry consoles Ranvi and says that there must have been lack of preparation and says tht the school has decided to give him another chance…Ranvi is surprised and so is Veera..Ratan says she will now hand over the fields to Nihal ans give attention to her kids and their needs…She hugs Ranvi and Veera joins the hug…
Balwant is ready to leave to see his brother when Bansuri comes all decked up…when Balwant asks what the occasion is Bansuri says she is doing it for him and his respect in the pind…Gunjan requests Balwant to stay back and watch the program with them, Bansuri scolds her and says not to bother him…Balwant asks Bansuri to talk to Gunjan nicely and also asks about Baldev who is hiding upstairs and gestures Gunjan to stay quiet…Bansuri says Baldev is getting ready ad when Balwant asks about his result Bansuri says he scored good marks and Gunjan is shocked…Balwant leaves Bansuri with an invoice for the bill and she passes it to Baldev asking him to put it safely in his papaji’s cupboard…Baldev goes to keep the reciept and finds a few envelopes filled with money addressed to a certain chanchali…he wonders who chanchali is…
Precap: everyone is watching the documentary when Veera says something and Nihal corrects her saying the bit she is talking about will come later…Kartar picks on Nihal ans says the dicumentary was aired around 8 months ago and asks if he has been spying…Nihal is perplexed…
