Chandrika assures Guruji that she is ready to keep any difficult fast to protect her family. Vasudha arrives with milk and fruits, placing them on the table. However, Guruji refuses to eat anything in the house until Chandrika’s fast is completed. He tells Chandrika that she cannot even drink water during the fast and instructs her to visit the temple to fulfill the ritual. Vasudha overhears the conversation and quietly leaves. Guruji reiterates that the fast must be completed for the family’s well-being. Chandrika promises to complete the fast and protect her family from any harm. Guruji then leaves.
Karishma, standing with Avinash, expresses concern and asks if they can go inside to see what’s happening. Sarika tells Karishma that Chandrika keeps certain things to herself. Karishma, with pride, responds that she’s Chandrika’s trustworthy daughter-in-law, not some outsider. Soon, Chandrika enters. Avinash suggests that Karishma directly ask Chandrika what’s going on. Karishma asks Chandrika if everything is okay. Chandrika assures her that everything is fine.
Karishma says she had gone to the temple to pray for the family’s well-being and hands over prasad to Chandrika. However, Chandrika refuses to take it and reveals that she is keeping a fast. Devansh is surprised and asks Chandrika why she suddenly decided to fast. Chandrika explains that she’s keeping the fast because of Avinash and Karishma’s engagement. Sarika grows suspicious and thinks there’s something more to this fast since Chandrika didn’t mention it earlier. She directly asks if the family is in any kind of danger. Chandrika firmly states that she won’t let any danger come close to her family.
Vasudha, standing aside, tells herself that she understands how challenging this fast will be for Chandrika. She prays to God to give Chandrika the strength to complete it. Savitri, meanwhile, says it’s clear this fast is very important since Guruji himself came to the house. She asks Vasudha to prepare prasad the next day. Vasudha then tells Savitri that she will also keep a fast for Chandrika. Sarika, who overhears this, grows suspicious.
Karishma suddenly tells Chandrika that she, too, will keep a fast. Chandrika tries to tell Karishma it’s not necessary, but Karishma insists, pretending to be eager. Secretly, Karishma thinks Chandrika won’t let her fast, but when Chandrika agrees and tells her to go ahead with it, Karishma is shocked. Hiding her surprise, she pretends to be happy and says she will stay close to Chandrika to take care of her.
Meanwhile, Vasudha serves food to Sarika. Sarika seizes the opportunity to question Vasudha about what Guruji told Chandrika. Vasudha lies, saying she didn’t hear anything. Sarika doesn’t believe her and asks how Vasudha knows about Chandrika’s fast. She taunts Vasudha, reminding her to behave like a maid. Sarika then accuses Vasudha of adding too much salt or chili to the food and orders her to eat it to prove herself. Vasudha refuses, saying she cannot eat because she is fasting. Sarika tries to force Vasudha to eat, but Devansh arrives and stops her. He questions Sarika, asking why she’s forcing Vasudha when Vasudha is keeping a fast for Chandrika’s sake.
Meanwhile, Karishma starts feeling hungry and uneasy. Avinash notices her condition and thinks she might faint since he knows Karishma isn’t the type to fast willingly. Suspicious, he watches her closely. Karishma sneaks into the garden and calls Kavita, telling her everything. Kavita offers to send food for Karishma, and Karishma eagerly asks for her favorite dishes. Sarika, who overhears the conversation, becomes excited and starts planning something.
Later, Sarika receives the food parcel delivered by Kavita’s driver. She takes a selfie with the driver as proof. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Vasudha begins preparing prasad for Chandrika’s fast. Devansh comes in and thanks her for her efforts. Vasudha assures him that she will stay close to Chandrika like a shadow the next day to support her.
Precap: Karishma secretly eats non-veg fast food in her room. Avinash and Vasudha quietly observe her from a distance. Avinash is determined to expose Karishma’s lie. However, just as he steps forward, Karishma begins choking on the food. Sarika notices Karishma struggling and immediately calls everyone to the spot. Hearing the commotion, the family gathers in concern. Vasudha quickly rushes to Karishma’s aid and helps her, saving her from choking. Karishma spits out the food, revealing pieces of chicken Chandrika, shocked by the sight of non-veg food, stares at Karishma in disbelief.
