Chapter 1:

“Annika!” he shouted.
I hurriedly went downstairs. He was standing outside the gate. I ran towards him, and wrapped my arms around him.
“Missed me so much?” he teased me.
“You disappeared for like a year and a half, then you’re asking me if I missed you?!? Really, Shivaay?” I joked, and he just chuckled.
“Let’s eat ice cream!” he suggested.
I gave him a weird look.
“Are you kidding? Ice cream at six in the morning?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Okay, okay. Hum, let’s just have coffee?” he replied.
I nodded, “But can I go, and change first? You don’t want to be seen in the headlines with a girl in her pajamas, do you?”
“Well you look beautiful in your pajamas!” he exclaimed, and I just rolled my eyes.
I dragged him inside my house, and let him sit on the sofa.
“I’ll just go change. Enjoy yourself, and feel at home,” I told him before heading to my room.
“Of course. This used to be like my house,” he answered.

He’s right. Before he left for US, he used to stay here with me all day long. He would usually sleep here.
I slipped in a pair of leggings and a long blouse. I just combed my hair, and let it fall freely, I love my hair every morning. It’s a bit wavy, but it’s attractive for me. I just don’t like my hair straight.
I went out, grabbed a pen and paper, and wrote a note to my sister.
“Gauri, I’m out for coffee with Shivaay. Yeah, with the Shivaay Singh Oberoi you favourite singer. He just came back, and we need to do some catching up. I’ll be back before lunch. Take care. –Annika”.
I’m two years elder than my sister which means she’s only 20. She haven’t really met Shivaay before because she just moved in with me 5 months ago. She grew up in Dubai because she wants to study there while I grew up here in Mumbai, India. Just after she left, I met Shivaay. She grew up apart from me, but we were really close especially if it’s about singing. At first, she won’t believe me when I told her I used to be Shivaay’s best friend, but after seeing our pictures and other evidences, she did.
“Your sister is a fan?” Shivaay said, reading the note from behind me.
“Yeah. She’s head-over-heels with all of you,” I answered
“I should meet her!” he exclaimed.
“Oh yeah, after reading my note, she’ll be asking me to see you. So yeah, you should come over again later,” I suggested.
“Sure. So let’s go now?” he replied.

I posted the note on the refrigerator using a magnet, then moved out with Shivaay.
“Starbucks?” I asked him.
“Yeah!” he said then grabbed my hand. He dragged me, going to Starbucks.
We entered the front door. When the cashier recognized him, her eyes lightened up.
“Hello!” she greeted us.
“Hello there,” Shivaay said.
The girl stared at him for a while as he ordered as if asking herself, ‘Is Shivaay Singh Oberoi really talking to me?’ Shivaay’s smile widened.

After listing our orders, we chose the table near the window. We were chatting when the cashier walked towards our table.
“Uhm, can I have a picture with you?” she asked Shivaay.
“Sure,” he replied. She grabbed her phone.
“I’ll take it,” I volunteered.
She gladly handed my her IPhone. Right after I have captured their picture, the cashier turned to me.
“Are you Shivaay’s best friend that he was talking about on Twitter?” she asked.
“Yeah,” I answered.
“Can I also have a picture with you?” she told me.

At first I was shocked, but then, of course I agreed. Louis took the picture. She carefully got her phone from Shivaay as if trying not to remove his fingerprints in it. I laughed to myself, imagining how he made her day, imagining how she’ll go home, and scream all day. And I just realized how lucky I am.
After we finished our drinks, we waved the cashier goodbye, and left.
“What time is it?” he asked me.
I glanced to my watch.
“7:30, so early to go home,” I said.
“Yeah. We shall go to the park,” he replied.
I smiled in response. We had a 15 minute walk to the park. The park is really near, it’s just that we walked slowly. Upon arriving, we sat on the grass.
“How I missed this,” I said as I closed my eyes and feel the fresh air’s breeze.
“And how I missed you,” he replied.
My eyes opened after hearing his response.
“Me too. By the way, how’s you and Tia Kapoor? I heard a lot about your relationship from the internet,” I said.
“Tia? She’s great, but maybe, we’re not meant for each other,” he answered.
I was unsure about what I heard.
“W-what?” I asked him.
“I thought you’ve heard a lot about us? We broke up just last week,” he said.
How come I don’t know?!?! Oh. I’m so stupid, and I even asked him about ‘them’ when it’s still fresh.
“Sorry. I don’t know!” I said, bowing my head in shame.
“It’s fine,” he said then wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

It’s funny how wrapping his arms around me, or simply touching me means nothing to him when it completes my day.
“I thought you forgot about me,” I told him.
“I won’t. Never,” he replied, removing his arms on my shoulders, and resting on my lap.
“I followed you on Twitter. I mention you for like 10 times a day, and you don’t notice me,” I said.
He looked at me.
“You do?” he asked in disbelief, and I nodded. “Before I left, you told me you’ll never make a Twitter account.”
“Yeah. I told you. But I made one for you. Because I thought we might miss each other, so we could still keep in touch,” I explained.
“Okay! I’m following you now,” he said then grabbed his IPhone from his pocket. “Done!”
I smiled at him.
“When are you leaving for tour?” I asked him.
“Next week,” he replied.
My eyes widened. Next week?!
Uh-oh.

Heyaaaa. Chapter 1 is here. Writing this chapter really is creepy for me. Every time I save it as a draft, it disappears then after a few minutes or after I restart my laptop it pops out again. Lol.
Anyways, hope you liked it.
Comment your suggestions, and everything.
Take care, guys!
Wear a smile!
